Zero's P.O.V.

I... I don't believe it... It's her... I disappear around the corner before I can lock gazes with her again.

"I need to see the Headmaster."

"Kaien" I barge into the headmaster's office. "I need to talk to you."

The headmaster looks up from his paperwork. "What can I help you with Zero?"

"Why is she here?"

"Who?" he tilts his head to the side.

"(Y/n)! Who else could I be talking about!"

Kaien's eyes go wide in realization "Oh her! Yes, well you see, Yagari has to do something here and he didn't want to leave (N/n) all alone in that big house of his. So, he brought her with him. And so I have him here now teaching the night class students. And I guess you didn't know but Yagari adopted (Y/n) after he saved her. But I didn't want her to have her be at this school for no reason so, I had her be a new member of the disciplinary committee." He ends his explanation with a smile. "And I thought that this would be a good thing too. Because... you know... you guys were so close as kids..."

He suddenly finds his hands very interesting as his voice began to fade out at the end. "Wait," I process the new information "Toga adopted her?"

Kaien nods. "Yes. He raised (Y/n) as his own. You may not know this, but Yagari has always wanted a child. So when he was able to get (N/n), he couldn't stop smiling."

"He's always wanted one?" I try to believe what I'm hearing. "That's a little hard to believe."

"I know. But (N/n) made Yagari's life happy again." Cross smiled at the thought

That's right... I remember the night when Yagari was forced to kill his own fiancée because of me.

"Anyway," The Headmaster continues. "Please do try to make her feel welcome. She's always been the one who has kept people at a distance. Heh, I guess that's something that you both have in common..."
