I was walking down the streets of
New York City. Cars passing,
girls taking photographs of themselves, boys on their skateboards. I felt out of place as
of who I am. A nerd who's
stereotyped to be reading and studying all day. I hold my coffee
tightly and my backpack hung
on one shoulder. I was a Junior at this school that I forgot the name of cause' I don't really care haha. I was 17 but my parents trust me to go anywhere on my own, since they think I have no one to go to, which makes me sad.

I went forward more, receiving
more looks from strangers. I'm
honestly so used to it, I don't
really care of how I represent in
front of people. But I'm lying, I do care much and it's hard.

As I was walking, I saw a rusted
vintage-looking vinyl store. It was cute
though, and the windows were slightly
tinted but able to see all of the vinyls.
I decided to browse a little since I really
don't have anything much to do today.

--

The bell rang as I walk in and I see all
of the vinyls aligned in alphabetical
order.

"Welcome to Vinyl Stop!" someone said. I just smiled and started to look around. I don't really listen to a lot of
artists but I really love rappers and yes,
I know that's very unfitting but it's not a major thing that I care for.
I didn't really pay attention to everyone
in the store much because I was on the
hunt for some music.

Carina's POV

Another day of everyday. It's the same.
I went to go get ready for work and put
some light makeup because I would feel absolutely dreadful without some
lipstick at least.
Today was Sunday and I have to work
on Sunday's which is a complete tiring
for a highschool student. I was a
Junior at Starlight High. I went there 'cause I liked the name but it isn't bad at all except for the people.

I got my bag and went off to my work
aka Vinyl Stop. I don't get the name,
but it's good money to pay for food and
other annoying stuff since my parents aren't really around.

I walked into the detailed eccentric shop and already saw some of my co workers.

"Hey Carina! How's your mornin'?"
Lucas, my "friend", asked.
"Well it was like every other day, waking up forcing yourself to feel alive." I answered.
"Aha.. At least you aren't dead!" Lucas clearly didn't know what to say.
"Yeah sadly." I mumbled quietly.

Lucas was 18, one year older than me but he always act like he's my bigger brother but I don't know, I can talk to
him about some things but he's not so great with advice.

I went to the back to place my stuff in
the cabinets and get ready for the people to get in. It was always busy here, even on Sunday's. It's always busy in New York.

-

I walked out to already see crowded people. People who study here sit at the
café and they'll find it relaxing. I guess at the vinyl shop was very home-y to a lot of people.

I went to get the packed new vinyls and put them into their new home.

Marcel's POV

I got some vinyls that I'll surely listen
to, and I do have a record player that was given from my brother, Edward. He wasn't really at home much but I didn't really care since he's 20 and supposed to be a good kid that a parent would like their kids to be, but he was hidden behind the sheets of innocence.

A lot of people were in the shop already, I guess it's really popular here.
People actually didn't look at me with
weird glares, I felt like a normal being.

"Do you need help?" a girl asked who had British accent. I turned to see a girl who had very light pink hair and brown roots. Did I mention that she was very pretty? She looked so familiar.

"U-uh no, just looking." I stuttered out nervously scared if she was gonna be rude like how other girls who encountered me.
"Okay, well if you need help you can come talk to me" she replied smiling, showing her bright teeth. I grinned
back and I awkwardly looked away.

Carina's POV

I walked away from the guy, he looked
very familiar like I saw him from school
but I'm not so sure. I thought he was so
cute, with his old town attire and his very strange looking glasses, I admired him already.

I didn't know his name.
I saw he had gone to pay for his vinyls,
he liked the same rappers as I do.
But he had left to go whatever he was going. I felt kinda sad that I'll might even not see him again but it's like that you know?.
