Chapter 1: Neighborhood

"Kyle! Are you going to go out and train today?"screamed Mom.

"Yeah Mom! I'm just grabbing a few items before I go!"Kyle screamed back.

"Well hurry up cause we have new neighbors and I want you to meet them before you go today."said Mom

Kyle grabbed a few potions out of his desk before he packed them away. He then put his jacket on. He picked up the backpack and threw it over his shoulder. He walked down the stairs straightening his clothes out. He looked over at his mom who sat at the table watching TV.

"I want you to go meet the new neighbors daughter."said Mom.

"Okay Mom."said Kyle.

Kyle looked around searching for something frantically.

"Did you lose something?"said Mom.

"I don't know where my hat is."said Kyle still searching.

Turning around he saw the hat on Pikachus' head. Pikachu jumped onto Kyle's shoulder in cheer.

"Pikachu!"said Pikachu happily.

"Hey buddy."said Kyle taking off the hat and putting it on his head.

"You look just like your father."said mom.

"I know, you tell me everyday."said Kyle laughing.

Kyle started out the door as he reached for the knob he paused.

"Don't worry mom. I'll be back."said Kyle looking back at Mom.

Mom smiled at him and watched as he walked out the door. Kyle closed the door behind himself and stood in front of the the house. He looked around at the neighborhood of Pallet town, which was lively with flowers. He looked next door to spot a moving truck. He walked over to meet the new neighbors. Kyle knocked on the door and waited for the door to open. Finally the door opened and out came a girl with dark red hair. She had an enlightening smile.

"Hi I'm Saria."said the girl.

"Kyle, my name's Kyle."said Kyle fumbling with his words.

"Are you our new neighbor?"said Saria smiling.

"Yeah, I live next door."said Kyle pointing to his home.

"That's cool. What a cute Pikachu." said Saria smiling more.

"Thanks." Kyle said rubbing Pikachu's head,"I'm here to welcome you and your family to Pallet town."

"My Dad isn't really new here. He told me he spent his childhood here. He said it hasn't changed much, and that he would take me on a historical tour one day."said Saria.

"Would you like to go on a tour now then?"said Kyle.

"I'd love to, I just need to ask my mom and get my jacket."said Saria.

"Okay, I'm just going to wait out here."said Kyle.

"Okay, I'll be right back."said Saria closing the door.

Kyle looked around and waited until finally she came out.

"I'm ready now."said Saria closing the door.

The door opened up behind her. Her mom came out and caught her.

"Oh, I'm glad you're not gone yet. You're father wants you to take Eevee with you."said her mom.

"Oh, come on Eevee."said Saria letting Eevee jump on her shoulder.

"I'll see you later sweetie."said her mom going back inside.
