One Year AGO

He was standing in front of me while I was examining the atmosphere. We were in the middle of a pitch black surface. Just the two of us, in this pit where silence reigned upon us. I felt a wet substance streaming down my face. Was I crying? I touched liquid, it felt like a gooey mixture. I took a sample and observed the blend, my eyes widened when I saw the crimson color on my hand and in a matter of seconds he approached me, lifted my head and began gently caressing my cheeks making the composite disappear with his warm thumbs.

I should be panicking but something was holding me. I then looked up at him and all I could see is a tall blurred figure holding me close. I began questioning myself on how he looked like, was he handsome? What was the color of his eyes?

Wait a minute;

I had blood on my face! Was it blood?!

Blood!!

Shivers ran up my spine. Where did it come from?! I took a few steps back and rapidly wiped the blood entirely from my skin and watched at him. My curiosity awoke. Why is he silent? Who the heck is he?!

"Who are you? I don't like playing games; tell me who are you now." I said with a fuming expression on my face. I blinked and there he was right in front of me, standing, close to me. Still afraid and irritated, I continued "I said. Answer me!"

He put both of his hands on my shoulders, I tried pushing him back but I felt weak, what is he going to do with me?!

I could've sworn I heard a chuckle.

"Stand still." He said with an emotionless tone.

"Y-you! Who are you?! Why am I here?! What is happening? Why did I have blood on my face?! GET OFF OF ME!" I managed to scream at him and closed my eyes, afraid of what will happen.

His hands gripped my shoulders harder while he approached my face, we were millimeters away and I looked at him. Finally, I could see his features beginning to appear lightly. I noticed that he had piercing blue eyes with a minuscule brown spot on his left eye.

"Why hello there Miss Clarke, let me tell you something, not one single living soul is allowed to talk to me with this audacity. And you, you'll regret what you just did." He said with coldness in his voice that made me freeze.

His left eye was changing, the brown spot was no longer tiny and the color was now swimming in the sapphire tint. I thought I would be amazed by this discovery but it only made me tremble.

He opened his faded mouth,

"I -MISS CLARKE" I looked at him with fear dictating my soul and now he began to yell" WHERE IS YOUR HOMEWORK?! "His silhouette vanished in the black background that was surrounding us, light penetrated my eyes and I could hear a symphony of whispers and giggles around me. Confused, I raised my head gently to look at the annoying person who woke me up. Found the culprit!

I was startled by Mr. Kastle's voice; he was standing in front of my desk shouting my name.

"What homework?" I said with annoyance as I began to look through my papers "this one?" I handed it to him and he furiously took it from my hands and answered " next time don't zone out in my class Miss Clarke or you'll have to stay an extra hour writing an essay on your daydreaming journeys, I bet they're very exciting aren't they? You know what, how about you start this afternoon, hmm? I would love to know what's more interesting than my class..."

"Everything is more interesting than your class" I mumbled to myself.

"I heard that!" he looked at me and continued while smirking " I was nice enough just to give you one hour of detention for your repetitive daydreaming sessions, for your attitude, I'll make it three".
