1 \ one

I look down at my phone as the bus bounces on the road. I have always been nervous about the bus rides but Luke helped me through it all. He and I look up as the bus hits a huge bump and I gasp a bit.

"It's ok, Ash." Luke says. I smile a bit. I decide to get more rest for the show tomorrow and head to my bunk. I say goodnight to them all and they all respond and Luke turns to smile at me.

I fall soundly asleep.

"Ash- ASHTON! Ashton PLEASE wake up!"

I woke to Michael shaking me. I look at him and rub my eyes. He has a huge cut on his face.

"Michael? You ok?" I ask, looking at him.

"I'm fine, i-it-it's Luke." He stuttered, I get out of my bunk to find the bus over on its side. I walk off of it in a weird way and get off to see Calum crying on the road. It's not even silent crying. He is full out bawling. Natalie, his girlfriend, is crying too and rubbing his back. I can't tell what's happening.

Vanessa looks up from the ground and starts crying as she runs to me and hugs me.

"Vanessa, what happened?" I ask rubbing her back.

"The bus overturned and Luke wasn't in his bunk and wasn't wearing a seatbelt-" I can't listen to it. I walk over to him and see him lying with blood covering him and glass everywhere. I can't believe it. I can't breathe and I drop to my knees.

No. He's not dead. No. No no no. I start crying the same way Calum is and don't even care that I'm half naked. I look at him and can't help but clutch his shirt in my hand as Calum is exhaustingly performing CPR. It looks like he's been doing this for a while.  Natalie finally gets him to stop and they hug, Calum burying his head into her shoulder and crying loudly.

I can't stop crying into Luke and I can't believe this happened. He was my best friend. And I know that this band can't go on without him. I watch as the ambulance takes him and I slip on a shirt with my sweatpants and flip flops and hop on with everyone. Vanessa is rubbing his lifeless cheek and Calum is still being comforted from Nat. Michael and I are silent.

This isn't happening.

HI GUYS! So I started this to celebrate the fact that I'm going to see the foo fighters tomorrow and wanted to give that story. I really like it so far. And I really hope it didn't make any of you upset!! It's actually really bad writing so I doubt it did. Love you all!!
