Chapter 8~ Lets Get Them

     They slowly creaked open the door but before they could fully open it a pale skinned man wrapped in mood covered toilet paper. Before any others could get in Lucia slammed the door shut. Swinging rapidly Jake struck the mummy like creature in the guts multiple times. It collapsed on to his knees but before he could get up Lucia swiftly sliced her sword through its neck. The head rolled to the floor and then the blood of the mummy gushed out of the severed arteries and veins. There was so much blood it covered the entire floor. Lucia and Jakes shoes were covered with bright red blood. BANG! BANG! BANG! The door came crashing down and a big ape like zombie, a ghost, and a pale man with big fangs came right on through. Luckily no other monsters entered the room.
    "Here take my sword." Lucia whispered to Jake. He did as he was told. Lucia ran into the closet, she remembered seeing a vacuum and grabbed it. She put it on full suction and ran out of the closet and saw the vampire and ape thing lying decapitated on the ground. Although, the ghost had cornered Jake and was about to shoot a fire ball at him. She raced up to the ghost with the vacuum and sucked it into it. For about twenty seconds the vacuum rattled and shook then stopped.
     "Good thinking!" Jake exclaimed.  A huge amount of ghosts zoomed into the room. Jake helplessly sliced the sword through the ghosts but nothing happened. Lucia grabbed the vacuum and pointed it at the ghosts. They all disappeared into the vacuum. Again the shaking of the vacuum happened.
     After about an hour the kids got very board with killing things they decided to go into the lobby and get the rest of em. All the vampires raced away up stairs. Jake took the sword and the pole and beat then stab the monsters. Some didn't even put up a fight. Meanwhile Lucia still had the vacuum and sucked up about three hundred ghosts. After about a half hour all the monsters in the lobby were either vacuumed up or dead.
     They decided to go back into their room and wait till dawn for the board walk. The kids set up their sleeping bags and laid on them and just talked.
     "I just wanna go home." Lucia sobbed.
     "I do too." Jake said
    The kids fell asleep for about an hour but were woken up when a dry hand touched them each on the shoulder. "AHHHH!" Lucia screamed. There were a whole bunch of vampires surrounding them. Jake realized they had taken the pole, sword and vacuum. Lucia noticed a bit of morning light shining through the window.
      Five minutes passed as the vampires told them exactly in detail how they were gonna kill them. The tall fat one was leaning in on Lucia, about to sink his teeth into her shoulder but he paused.
    "EEEEEEKKKKK!" The vampire yelled as it exploded into dust. The morning light had hit him and being a vampire, he exploded into dust. One by one the vampires bursted into dust and disintegrated until there was none left.
     "Perfect timing!" Lucia said quivering.
     "I know right." Jake said.
