Prologue

Third Person

Lily Potter gazed down at her child with her first red locks. Lily whispered to her little baby girl Lili Jane,"Be safe my dearest Lili Be strong. Don't forget me." The year old baby cooed at her mother,"Mummy." A tear fell down Lily's cheek as she kissed the small child's forehead where there lay a lightning shaped scar from when Lily's mother had protected her but no one but Dumbledore knew that Lillian and James Potter were still very much alive. They had to go into hiding away from their children. Lily Potter kissed her daughters forehead sand set the little girl bundled in a bright red cloak down on the orphanage step. Lily Potter turned at the last second and set a letter down next to her child and kissed her baby's forehead one final time and whispered,"I love you Lilli Jane Potter." Lily Potter got off the step and with a swish of her cloak she was gone.

Lili Jane woke up with a jolt recalling the dream that seemed to come to her every night that or it was a nightmare that always made her scream. One that always ended in a flash of green light and a cackle. Lily rolled out of bed and onto her knees. She put her head in her hands and she let one tear escape as she thought about her mother and father.
