Amilia woke up, her arm stretched out above her head, her left arm under a pillow holding it under her head as her right hand was curled around the corner of the second pillow on her bed. She sat up to let go of the pillows her arms pushing her dark galaxy comforter that was surrounding her small body.

She slid out of bed, her knees wobbly from her previous slumber. Her body not fully awakened as she stood in front of her medium sized full sized bed. Crossing the room her foot got tangled up with an old dirty shirt that was crumpled in a mess on the floor. As she reached her dresser she placed her hands on the edge of it, her eyes looking down at her hands. Her nails were scattered with a dark navy polish that was peeling off. She looked down at her dresser drawers, the clothes seeping out like monsters trying to escape them. She let out a soft huff upward to make her bangs fly up from her face.

She opened the top left drawer to pull out an undershirt, pulling it over her head she looked down at the black fabric of it. She shook her head as her mind flashed to her small Yorkshire terrier would soon get a light caramel colored hair all over her black shirt. She looked back up to her reflection in the mirror her hands moving up to trace the ghostly shadows under her eyes with her index fingers from her not so great slumber the night before.

She looked around her room as she dropped her hands down by her side. She crossed the room the closet, opening the closet door she took a pair of faded blue pair of blue jeans. Pulling them on she fell onto the floor her butt hitting the floor with a loud thud. She shook her head smally as she moved her right hand to open the bottom drawer to pull out a pair of miss matched socks. Pulling them on she quickly moved to pull on her new black converses. A small smile tracing on her lips as she hoisted herself off of the floor. Her knees popping as she stood, her feet moving to the white door that was in front of her.

She swung open the door, her eyes closing with the gust of air that came with the opening door. She continued to move to where she was walking out the door. Coming face to face with a big framed boy, her eyes looked at his blue shirt as she bounced back from bumping into his chest. This was her older brother tom. She looked up at him, her arms moving to push him back "Watch it, Tom!" She said hoarsely with a slight hint of anger towards him.

She looked up at the black haired boy, his green and gold flaked eyes looking down at her with a cold stare. "Why don't you watch it." He said softly, his voice was deep he said it so that it was annoying to her. She let out a small breath of air, shaking her head as she replied " You're the one standing outside of my room, you a*ss." She shoved past him into the bright window lit hallway. She looked at all of the smiling faces in the pictures that her mom had forced them to take. Her left hand reaching up to run along side of her mother to where a father figure was absent. Her eyes watering as she thought about all the memories that she would of liked to have shared with her father, if she had knew where he was. She blinked rapidly to get rid of the tears that were forming.

She raced down the flight of stairs that was carpeted with a light tan color, the stairs led into the kitchen. She smiled as she looked at the small framed woman at the sink. "Hey Mom." She said softly, as she walked over behind her her arms wrapping around her waist in a loving hug. "Good morning." Her mother replied softly in a soft southern voice. Her mom leaned up on her toes to give her a peck on her cheek.

Amilia walked towards the door, her arm reaching to grab her bag off of the rack that held it, slinging it over her shoulder she walked out the door. Her eyes squinting before they adjusted to the brightness of the sunlight that was outside. Her mouth opened before she yelled at her brother "Come on Tom! We are going to be late!." She yelled at him, her arm shutting the door before it was stopped by her brothers hand to open it from himself. She looked around their long front yard that was scattered with leaves. In all kind of colors from yellow, orange, and red. Her feet moving before she had wanted to. She moved towards the small Volkswagen that her brother owned. It's white paint was glossy as he probably had just washed it.

Her hands moved to the door handle, trying it she noticed it was locked. Her head shaking in anger as she looked at him. "Unlock the car." She projected towards him. Her eyes narrowing at him as she heard the beeping from him unlocking the car. She huffed lightly as she opened it, pulling the door open she slid into the car. Tossing her bag into the back seat she sighed softly. Watching as her brother slid into the car.

She leaned back onto the black lathered seat. Her head tilting to look at the window to watch the tree move as her brother backed from the driveway. Her forehead laid against the glass as she looked out at the grey clouded sky as it was fall, and doomed to rain. She glanced over at her brother, her eyes softening as she watched his jaw clench. "Stop staring, and take a picture Amilia. It would last longer." She let out a soft growl as she turned her head back, her hand reaching under her to grab her phone out. Unlocking the phone she clicked on her camera app, clicking a picture of him she smirked.

She turned her head to the windshield she watched as her brother intentionally swerved into the other lane of traffic, pulling back into his own lane. His lips were curved into a teasing smirk. She sighed softly as he was being an ass this morning, her mind thinking of how they had used to be as children. Always playing with hot wheels, making them talk as they drove them around the wooden living room floor. Her lips curled into a smile at the memory.

Amilia blinked a few times before she leaned away from the window, her head looking towards the windshield as she saw a dark navy blue Ford truck in front of them. Her mouth opening to let out a loud blood curling scream , she screamed her brothers name before the truck slammed into her brothers small white one. Her bothers truck rolling onto her side first she slammed into the window. Her head hitting the window so hard she blacked out. The white car continued to roll down a small hill beside the road, Amilia's arms laid against roof of the car as it was flipped over, the bottom of the car was up facing the cloudy sky.
