SARAH'S POV

When we woke up a few hours later, everyone gathered downstairs for breakfast as usual. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I tiredly stumbled downstairs with Calypso in my arms. I placed her in her high chair at the end of the table and jumped in line, grabbing a plate and basically everything I could find. I was starving.

I took a seat in the chair to the left of Calypso and Bucky sat beside me, his arm draped comfortably over the back of my chair as he dug in. The others gradually sat down as well.

I jammed my fork into the pile of eggs, scooping as much into my mouth I could fit, and hardly took a break to breathe before turning to the hash browns. I ate like a mad man- I never knew when, or if, I would get my next meal.

Also, Pepper was a damn good cook.

I was so focused on filling my stomach that I didn't realize anyone was talking. By the time I tuned in, I had already missed a good bit.

"I contacted Fury about the attack. Excluding all the swearing, he basically said that it was good that we fought them off and he wants to know more about your dream, Sarah." Tony said, his eyes flicking up to me. My chewing slowed and everyone went quiet.

"Was there anything else to it?" He questioned, his mouth full of food as he waited for me to answer.

I finished chewing and swallowed, wiping my mouth on the napkin beside my plate. I debated whether or not I should tell them about Wanda- should I tell them that we have to go to Sokovia?

Everyone looked at me expectantly.

"I was visited by someone last night," I began slowly. "She warned me of the attack, showing me all the Hydra soldiers that were lined up outside the tower. She said we needed to take care of them and then meet her in Sokovia."

Everyone frowned, glancing around at each other in confusion. Natasha spoke up next.

"Who was this girl? Do you know her?"

I internally panicked. For some reason, I felt that if I told them who she was, she wouldn't be safe. But I wasn't sure why I felt that way. Should I tell them or not?

"No, I don't know her." I replied, biting my lip to keep from blurting out the truth. I was surprised by how easily the lie rolled off my tongue. It must've been convincing, because no one really questioned it, instead moving on to the topic of Sokovia.

"Why would we have to go to Sokovia..." Tony muttered to himself, staring at his empty plate and thinking. Suddenly, he sat up.

"Hydra. We knew that their new base wasn't in the U.S., and was well hidden in a small country. What if Sokovia is where their base is?"

Bruce immediately shook his head at Tony's idea.

"Even if it was, how do we know that this girl, whoever she was, wasn't trying to trick us? What if she's trying to lure us into a trap?" He questioned, pushing his glasses further up his nose. Internally, I was screaming. She isn't trying to trick us. She's trying to help us. Bruce bit his lip before continuing.

"There's a very good chance she's trying to trick us into walking into a trap. We have no reason to trust her."

"But what if she's trying to help us?" Steve suggested, basically speaking my thoughts and looking up from his food to meet my glance. I think he knew that I wasn't telling the truth about whether or not I knew her, but he was nice enough not to call me out. Thank god for Steve.

"There's a chance she wants to see the end of Hydra as well. She may be a prisoner that needs us to come destroy the base for her." He continued, taking another bite of pancake. Silence ensued as everyone thought, trying to make sense of why someone would tip us off about Hydra's attack. I prayed that they would at least search Sokovia for traces of the evil organization, so I wouldn't have to reveal any more about Wanda.
