Tainted Feather

The Past...

I stared blankly at the little girl and then back at the titan as I panicked and went into shock. I couldnt move as my body turned pale and stiff as I heard the ship leave. I was doomed I could only think that if the current situation, as the little girl smiled and looked at me
"Miss...thanks for saving me" said the little girl enthusiastically
"Y-Your Welcome" I watched the titan turn its head back and fourth as if he hadnt noticed me yet.
"Im Minny..." the girl hugged me tightly "and you wont let me die"
I looked at her eyes widened... the burden of this little girls life was put on me. As soon as I opened my mouth to reassure her I saw the titan approach me from behind as it eyed me down and I started jogging... I didnt want to die... I couldnt die yet. I kept jogging as I soon picked up my speed to sprinting as I looked over my shoulder to see a shocked with fear Minny standing directly infront of the titan as it picked her up.
I couldnt decide... would I save her or die in the process... I watched her be picked up slowly as she started screaming. I didnt want her to die... but i didnt have the power to kill a titan... even if I tried... so how could I-
"M-Minny" was the only words I could mutter as I looked down.
"I-I am sorry" I started sprinting for my life thinking of the amount of hatred I would recive... I can save her... I turned around slightly and paused hearing Minny's frightful voice.
"DIANA DONT LET ME DIE PLEASE" she screamed at me as I stood now realizing the fear we faced from the titans. How could I let an innocent little girl die...
"PLEASE DONT-" she was cut off once the titan had put Minny in his mouth ripping off her head to expose a few neck bones. I couldnt save her... I watched blood flow down Minny's headless body as the titan finished it in a few chewing motions and a swallow, as he soon stared at me and I started running for my life as my dress had small dust stains and I saw the gate to the wall and I ran faster towards it until I made it inside safely.

Living Quarters-

I quickly sat up from the recently occuring nightmare as I panted hevily... "It was just a dream" I told myself repeatdly although I knew it really had happened that awful five years ago. I turned on my small candle light and looked around my room as I put on my scout regiment uniform and struggled to put on my boots properly. I slowly creaked open the door and peeked into the hallway seeing not a souls presance. I went out into the hallway and leaned on the deck support pillar as my face suddenly turned pale as I heard a strict and stern voice.
"Are you out here to clean the windows ?" Levi stood behind me as I got a bit frightened
"N-No I just had a ... dream" I stuttered randomly as I sat in a chair to face him.
"This isnt like you Diana... your usually excited and upbeat... what was your dream" He looked at me still emotionless as I knew he wouldnt care but I described it to him, I slowly saw a faint change in his expression.
"It was you" he exclaimed with an almost unhappy undertone "get out of my presance" he exclaimed as I stood without leaving a trace... I didnt understand the circumstances...
"To Heichou im just a brat so why would he care if Im near him or not... Ill just... " I fell dead asleep in the hallway not knowing what would happen.
