I Dare You

ZACH'S POV

I felt bad for being a bit rude to Owen but neither of us wanted to spend the day together. Thankfully he let me go for lunch. After walking in one direction for 10 minutes I realised I was lost. I put my phone away and decided to ask someone for directions. "Errm, excuse me. Do you happen to know how to get to the control room from here?" I asked an employee. "Yeah, just go straight down there, then turn left and you'll see the elevator" they replied. I felt like such an idiot, I had walked straight past it.

The lift dinged opened and I walked into the control room. I strolled into Claire's office to find it empty. Just Great. How am I going to get lunch now. "Hey Lowery, where's Gray and Claire" I asked closing the door. "Errm, Gray went to get you for lunch and after five minutes Claire went looking for you two" he replied spinning around on his chair. "Oh, okay. Thanks" I said heading back to the lift. I was starving, I was determined to find them for my food.

OWEN'S POV

I noticed that Dr Wu seemed to be working on a lot of top secret projects. I looked on the calendar and read today's date; InGen to inspect IR2.0. Well that had dodgy written all over it. I sat down at his computer and tried to login. I was a bit of a computer geek as a kid so it shouldn't be too hard. I failed at the first two attempts meaning I had one last shot before I was locked out. "Found what you're looking for?" Dr Wu's voice surprised me. I immediately span round on the chair. "The crocodiles have escaped or sharks whatever you want to call them" I spat angrily at him. "Just be glad that the IR 2.0 hasn't" he retorted. IR it had finally clicked in my stupid head. Indominus Rex. Does he ever learn. I swivelled back round on the chair and proceeded to try and log in. Dr Wu watched as I was about to press entered. "Oh, I wouldn't do that if was you" he said smugly. "And why is that?" I gritted back. "Well, if you get it wrong and I know that you have. It will force my computer into lockdown and disarm the safety precautions on my latest assets" Dr Wu lectured. "Well I'm sure that I'm right and surely you wouldn't be stupid enough to program your computer to do that" I sounded if I was questioning myself. "You wanna bet? I dare you press the button" he smirked.

I clucked my tongue and began to get up. "I knew you weren't brave enough to do it" Henry laughed. He got under my skin so bad; I just wanted to punch him. Before I could even process what I had done, I instantly knew I had made the wrong decision. In my anger I had hit the enter button and a message pop up on the screen. "You idiot, look what you've done" Dr Wu said frantically pushing me aside.  In 30 seconds this computer will shut down along with containment precautions. Sh!t. What had I done!! I'm such an idiot, I seriously need to learn to control my temper. Dr Wu was panicking and trying to get his computer working again. Claire. I sprinted out the office in search for Claire and Olivia.

GRAY'S POV

I walked into Owen's tiny office to collect Zach for lunch. It was just my luck, neither Zach or Owen were there. I had no idea where they would be or where to look. The resort was huge. I felt as if I had been walking around in circles. After about 20 minutes of searching, I thought it would be a good idea to see if they had gone back to Aunt Claire's office. Just as I was heading back there was an announcement. "Due to a containment anomaly, the resort is on lock down. Nobody gets in or out" a voice boomed through the speakers whilst red lights flashed. I winced as memories of Jurassic World came flooding back. Gray, calm down it's okay. You survived Jurassic World; Zach looked after you. I started hyperventilating I didn't have Zach by my side this time. I was completely alone.

I was mobbed my crowds of terrified people. I had to get back to the control room, quickly. I stumbled struggling to find my way to safety. I could hear my heart pounding in chest. My throat was dry as my head span. I searched through the crowds desperate to find a familiar face. Gray, think. You haven't seen a threat, you're perfectly fine. I just need to focus on getting to the control room. I continued to run in the same direction. I could hear screams but I couldn't quite work out what direction they were coming in. My legs went to jelly and I froze. I was being pushed about the crowd until I was flung in a corner. I sunk to the ground and let the tears roll out. I was going to die. No one knew where I was, I didn't know where anyone else was. There was no one to look after me. I continued weeping in fear and people ignored me as they rushed pass.

CLAIRE'S POV

I had finally finish my work. I savoured the silence of my office. Silence was rare back home. I was little worried about Gray, I had sent him to bring Zach so we could and have lunch but he hasn't come back yet. I thought it would be best to go look for him. I successfully removed Olivia from her car seat without waking her. I headed for the lift to go and find my nephews. I decided to check the lunch hall first. Knowing Zach, he probably dragged Gray there, wanting food there and then. My heart sank as I discovered that they weren't there. I exited the eating area; trying to think of the possible places they could of gone. I decided to walk around the resort in hope that I would bump into them at some point. About ten minutes later an announcement boomed through the speaker, waking Olivia up. I tried to calm her down. I suddenly felt the colour drain from my face as I came to terms with the announcement.

I felt sick. It was going to be Jurassic World all over again. The boys. I had to find Owen, Zach and Gray. Hopefully they were together and could look after each other. People came rushing from every direction. I don't know where they think they're going, did they not just hear the announcement. The resort is on lockdown. I held Olivia tight to my chest and ran as fast as I could. I had to find the boys, I didn't want anything to happen to them. The noise was awful people were screaming making Olivia wail harder and louder. Zach and Gray had to be safe. If Karen knew what was going on I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't let me see the boys again. And we had come so close, it would break my heart. I just wanted Owen to look after me. Tell me everything was okay and that I was safe in his arms.
