Chapter 6: Lonely
I woke up to blinding florestent lights shining down from the ceiling. Squinting my eyes open, my head started pounding and there was a faint buzzing inside my head.
As my vision became clearer, I reconized the room I was in as the emergency room. I couldn't remember what I did to have me end up here, and it hurt to think too hard.
I heard low murming in the background and I tried to sit up to get a better view, which only made my head hurt even worse.
Someone rushed to the side of my bead.
"No no. Don't try to get up," the voice said. "Doc she's awake," the voice said to someone else in the room.
I heard footsteps patter across the room and then I heard a masculine voice speak.
"How are you feeling Ms. Sanders?" he asked.
"Not so great," I replied. "What happened?" I asked.
"Well according to this young gentleman, you passed out on the steps of a University. Do you remember anything about that?" he asked.
I shut my eyes and tried to think. "Not really." I said after giving up.
The doctor nodded and handed something to the nurse.
"Well the good news is is that you're not hurt. We'll give you a few pills to help your head, then you should be out of here by later today." the doctor said.
"Now I'll let you rest up a little bit," he said before exiting the room.
I sighed and closed my eyes again. Then I remembered that he mentioned a young man. Was he in the room?
I slowly turned my head to the side to see a very familier face.
"Nick?" I asked.
Nick leaned forward in his seat.
"Hey Chelsea." he replied.
Nick must've been the one who found me like the doctor said.
"Listen, I gotta go, but I'm glad you're feeling better," he said before standing and friendly placing his hand on my arm, then he left the room.
I sighed once more then I shut my eyes again and let sleep take over.

Later that day, I was checked out of the hospital and sent right home. The doctors were still concerned about my sudden fainting and they said they wanted to keep a close eye on me to make sure it didn't happen again.
I went back to my apartment and pretty much just layed around for the rest of the day.
I tried to watch TV for a little while but eventually that made my head hurt too. I was thinking about calling one of the boys, but I didn't want to be annoying so I didn't.
As the minutes kept passing, I kept getting more and more tired, and I wanted to go do something.
I decided that since I was lonely all the time, I should have something there for me in case I need it, so I went on a puppy hunting quest.
Eventually I came across an ad selling abandoned puppies and I just had to. They looked so adorable! Who could abandon such adorable little creatures?
I looked up the address and drove to the rescue center.
At the front desk, I met a lady who showed me to the back room where all the puppies were kept.
There were at least 15 little puppies happily yip yapping away and they were all beyond adorable. I took my time to carefully look at each puppy until I finally found the one for me.
It was an adorable little cream colored puppy with brown spots around his eyes. He was yapping just as loudly as the others, but when I saw him, I felt some sort of connection.
I told the lady that I wanted him and she took him out of the cage for me. In total, the puppy ended up only being 30 euros, and I was thinking about buying a second one, but then came back to my senses and decided I couldn't afford it.
I left the rescue center with a big smile on my face and the little puppy in my hand.
For the remainder of my day, I spent it with the puppy who was quite energentic and I could already tell he would be the perfect fot for me.
Now all he needed was a name.

A/N: Hellooo! Thanks to everyone who has read it so far :) I hope you guys enjoyed chapter 6 and I NEED A NAME FOR THE PUPPY! I'm taking any suggestions so just comment what you think the name should be! I'll probally end up picking one myself, but I'm open for any suggestions!
