3 years ago, I didn't even know who he was and now we are going to start a family together. I fell in love with him the way we fall asleep slowly then all at once.
It was July 10, 2012, the day of the Green Day concert. It was a very warm and sunny day in Sydney, a perfect time to spend my spring break vacation. My best friends and I were on our way to the stadium to see one of our favorite bands. We had front row seats and we were sure we'd have the best time of our lives! We finally got to our seats. We were one of the first ones to get in the arena so we were just on our phones and talked to each other. A small band from Sydney, opened up for Green Day and they rocked it!
Then as I was dancing along with the song, I saw him. He was wearing a green day shirt and black skinny jeans. He had bright blue eyes and blonde hair. He was with two more guys, who I assume we're his friends. After the show, we bumped into each other and he introduced himself to me as well as my friends. He noticed that we weren't from Australia judging by our accents and asked where we were from and what we were doing in Australia.
We told them we were from the U.S. and we're on vacation and that we'll be here for 2 weeks. As soon as he found out that we'll be here for a while, he invited us to his 19th birthday party. We exchanged numbers and we couldn't stop texting each other until we saw each other again about a week later for his birthday. Where we danced all night. He drove my friends and I back to our hotel and wanted to take the long way home.
