Eco and I took my aunt's car to where Discovered Rumors were holding their auditions. As Eco parked the car in the parking lot, I kept on fiddling with my fingers as I looked out the side window beside me.

"Are you nervous," Eco asked me.

"What type of question is that," I repeated her words but in a deep voice. "Are you nervous?"

"I was just asking," Eco said sounding offended. "I was just trying to be a nice friend here."

"Ha, yeah, right," I laughed in her face. "Friend? Friends don't make their friends do something they don't want to do by blackmailing them!" I was outraged.

"At least you're not nervous anymore." I looked at her shocked. She's right but of course I'm not going to admit that to her, let alone thank her.

"Let's just get this over with," I mumbled as I got out of the car.

***********

Once I was register in and headed towards the waiting line, let me just say it was crazy long. After sometime of waiting it seemed as if I was the last contestant to arrive because no one was behind me.

"I think you're going to close the show," Eco voiced out.

"Oh, thank you Eco for saying such things. I totally didn't notice," I said in a sweet sarcastic voice. "I was here in my own little world daydreaming about nothing." I dropped the sweetness and went full on sarcastic by the end of my sentence. "I was too caught up on ways to strangle you for making me do this to notice anything around me."

"Sheesh. No need for all that sarcasm. You could have just said 'I know'. That would have sufficed." I just rolled my eyes and turned in my seat.

"Wow. You girls put on a quite a performance." I guy sitting in front of us, which I didn't notice until now, said while clapping his hands. I turned my head to the side to look at him, and then at Eco, she was blushing a rosy pink, then I turned back at the guy again. He had blonde hair, green eyes, and was ok looking, for me at least. But knowing Eco, she must be seeing dazzling sparkling green eyes, an amazingly gorgeous smile, nice looking hair, and adorable dimples. Wait, never mind, he didn't have dimples. That's ok because knowing Eco she'll just imagine them. Finally I turned my head back around as I rolled my eyes at them.

"You're a feisty one aren't you," I heard the guy continue talking. "You must be the sweet friend." He directed the last part towards Eco. I crossed my legs, one over the other. I placed my elbow on top of my leg as I rested my chin in my palm. I let out a snort when he said that.

"Am I wrong," the guy asked. Yes. And may I add, rude?

"No. She's just has an attitude right now," Eco answered. "So... What's your name?"

"Right, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is-," I cut him off.

"You are totally wrong on your conclusion," I spoke up. Trying to piss off Eco.

"Everly," Eco murmured while lightly hitting my back.

"You could continue," I said sweetly with a fake smile plastered on my face. The guy just chuckled in response causing Eco to sigh dreamily at him. Barf. And man, this girl fell fast.

"Anyways. As I was saying. My name is Holden."

"I'm Eco and this is Everly," Eco politely replied.

"Nice to meet you Eco and Everly."

I turned my head to reply, "Nice to meet you too." They looked at me surprised that I answered, and kindly may I add. But before they jumped to conclusions that I stopped being grumpy I added, "Hold." And erupted in laughter even though it was nowhere close to being funny.
