Whether he went right or left, he found himself faced with the decision of leaving behind all that he cared about. For he chose to go backwards rather than forwards, since it was the only choice he had if he wished to remember every moment that wasn't fantasy. Then there it was, the light that he had been searching for. He had of been chasing it for miles and miles to count, if not for the appearance of it's existence.
