Begin Again[Slow Update]

"Mrs.Reed?" the softly spoken words alerted me from my drowsiness. Not that I could fall asleep here, the place has a gloomy feel of death and foreboding .Both of which  can be felt like a living breathing thing.
"Mrs. Reed....are you alright?"
"yes, doctor Allen don't worry about me, I am fine."
I am afraid of asking the question, the thing I was wondering for 10 hours sitting on a hospital's waiting room but I gathered my courage squared my shoulder and asked" is....is Matthew going to be ok?"
"I have done all there was to do, but at this point we can only wait "
There it is more waiting , I don't know how much more I will be able to handle.
"But I am not very optimistic, there were many internal injuries the spinal chord and optic nerves were severely injured on the impact . Even if he lives he will not be the same man you knew."
"Thank you, doctor" he will not be alright I can feel it and see it on his expression; he is just saying this so, I will be prepared and know it was for the best. But how can be the death of a loving husband and father ever be alright?
"Sweety I know you are hurting but I think you should call somebody now." The elderly nurse was saying to me , and I know she is right I should call our parents tell them to come and bring Mari with them. Oh....oh..my Mari.. my darling little Mari she won't even have her father's memory. As this thought entered my brain I can feel the despair welling in me but I can't break now he is alive...he is going to be ok . I have to keep my hope and call the family. As I decided I called home
"Hello, what are you doing calling your mother at your we-"
"Mom can you please come and bring the family even Mari, I am texting you the address ......and mom please hurry" I texted her the details and waited for them arrive.
 

I don't know I will continue the story or not although I have already known how the story is going to be  but don't have the courage to write it, as we are holed up due to the pandemic thought why not try to complete it , and please let me how it is and how to improve I.
