Aspen's Pov :
(4 months later )
Today , me and Layne Are going to find out the gender of our baby.
I'm very excited, Layne wants a girl, but I would love a boy .
It really doesn't matter , actually as long as this baby is healthy and happy .
" come on babe, or we are gonna be late ." I yelled, from downstairs .
" coming , baby. Just fixing my hair ." Layne yelled back down .
" you take more time then I do." I laughed as he walked down the stairs .
" you ready baby girl ?" He smiled , pecking my lips .
" as ready as I'll ever be ." I smiled.
"Let's go see baby smith." He smiled and grabbed my hand .
He walked me to the car , and opened the door for me , I thanked him and he walked to the driver side .
And we were off the see our little baby .

We walked into the doctor's office, and I went to sign in .
After signing in , we sat down , Layne placed his hand on my growing baby bump and rubbed circles around it .
I smiled and kissed his lips.
" Aspen Blanchard ." A nurse called .
Layne help me up and we walked back.
"I'm kassie , ill be your nurse. How are you feeling ? " she smiled , while checking my heart rate .
" well , my feet are swollen , but overall I'm feeling great ." I laughed and she smiled .
" wonderful , well your doctor will be with you shortly, have a great day. " she smiled and exited the door .
" I'm so nervous." I said , rubbing my hands together .
" why baby ?" Layne sat up and walked over to the bed side .
" what if I'm not a good mother , Layne ? What if he or she hates me when they are older ." I said , tears brining in my eyes..
" baby , he or she will love you . You are gonna be a great mother , I just know it . " he smiled and kissed my forehead .
" and you'll be a great father ." I smiled .
" we are gonna be great parents." He smiled and the doctor walked in .
" hi Aspen , I'm dr. Wilson." She smiled .
" hi." Was all I could say.
" you must be the father ?" She looked at Layne .
" yes ma'am," Layne smiled and squeezed my hand .
" well , you will be finding out the gender today , let's take a look shall we ?" She smiled and put gloves on .
" raise your shirt please ." She said and grabbed the gel stuff.
I raised my shirt up , and layed my hands down beside me .
" this is gonna be cold." She said as she squeezed some gel on my stomach.
She grabbed the scanner and moved it around on my stomach .
She moved it around until she found a head .
Tears brimmed my eyes as I saw my baby for the second time .
" well congratulations, you are having a ......"
