Nestled securely in a blanketed crib lay a baby. Her name was Evane. Her small strands of blue, white hair covered her glowing yellow eyes. "Light." Her mother beamed as she gazed at her baby with curious eyes. "Conqueror." Her father replied taking the child in his warm hands. "She will protect us." He said looking at his child. Indeed, Evane was the spirit of Light and Conquering. She protects the underworld and us. Of course the young spirit did not understand these words nor did she get the chance to hear them again. One night after the Great Spirit King heard of the spirit child, he commanded his guards to kill the parents, so, they may never tell their child how to attain her powers and destroy his kingdom. Like an evil flood the guards swept Evane's parents to their death on a rocky tide. And the baby never saw them again. The King took the baby in as his own and gave her everything. But he knew that there would be a time where Evane would learn. But what he did not know, was if he was ready...
