I walk pass the screaming crowd of youths. I raise my camera and took some shots.
"Nice party huh?" ask, Ashton as he emerge from the crowd.
"The freshmen this year are wild. You can't even tell that if they're first year or what", I said back as I watch the new batch of first year student dance like wild mongrels.
Today is our university's freshmen welcome party. And the speeches and performance are all done so they are pretty much free to dance there heart out. There's a live band playing, and the seniors are joining in the "fun".
I, for one, am not interested in such things like these. I just happen to be, one of the photographers for this event so, even if I have absolutely no intention of coming, I need to otherwise. I'm actually already a third year student, and as far as I remember, I went home before our freshmen party even started the performances.
"There's a lot of hot chicks you know"
"You're hitting on a freshmen?" I tried to sound non-judgmental.
"What? I don't see any problem with that. Besides she's hot" he smirk.
"Yeah, well you said that for the tenth time today. And I'm pretty sure it's not the same girl"
He chuckled at my response.
"What about you? Found anyone interesting?"
"No", not that I'm looking.
"I'm gonna go take some photos over there", I point out at the back of the crowd and head my way there.
I raise up my camera and just when 'm about to shoot, my camera caught something.
And in that instance I felt like instead of the rock music, I am hearing the famous theme song of Twilight.
"Heart beats fast...

How can love if I'm afraid..."
A beautiful girl stood up helping another girl who seemed to have tripped.
The girl mouthed thank you and disappeared through the crowd while the beautiful girl who helped her stood and displayed a genuine smile.
The girl who has long black hair tide in a ponytail. She wears a simple dressed paired with a blazer and matching doll shoes. No makeup. Just simple beauty.
....
It's like everything stopped.
My focus is on that girl alone.
I don't know why I can't stop looking at her.
My vision is becoming a blur and the only thing clear in my eyes is the girl in front of me. Just standing and watching the dancing crowd.
The crowd. I still can't hear it.
The Twilight song is still playing, accompanied by my beating heart.
Wait, what's happening? Am I ok?
Why does my heart react this way?
I swear, this is not the first I saw a beautiful girl.
My friends are practically models!
She turned at me!
I froze.
She looks confused.
My breathing is turning ragged. I think my face is getting hot.
Wha-
And everything went black.
"Uhmmm..."
I opened my eyes and saw white painted walls.
My vision became clear and I realized where I was.
The hospital.
"Yow! You're awake!"
Ashton.
"Dude. How'd I get here?"
"You passed out last night. Doctors' said it was because you're anemic and probably you haven't eat anything. Did you? Eat I mean?"
