A/N: Hello everyone! I hope you like this short story. If you don't like or agree with the major or career choice then you can always change it in your mind as you're reading. I just based it on myself lol! Enjoy! :)

What a long and exhausting day! I hope working with Hanji in the lab won't always be like this. And especially when classes are about to start tomorrow, I thought to myself as I picked up the grocery bags from the trunk and proceeded to carry them to my apartment. The sun was beginning to set rapidly as the multitude of saffron orange and violet colors in the sky changed to deep blues and black. I noticed a U-Haul truck parked a couple of parking spots away from my own. As I neared it, I heard grunting and a few swear words echoing out of the truck. I peeked inside and saw a man with a dark undercut trying to move a heavy black leather couch. Even though his back was turned to me, I could still tell he was straining himself if his shoulder and back muscles were anything to go by. I cringed internally, watching him struggle and remembered my own horrendous moving experience before I had Mikasa as a roommate. I had no one to help me and it was an absolute nightmare.
"Excuse me?" I called out tentatively in his direction, "Do you need any help?"
The man turned around and his handsome and youthful features were contorted into a murderous expression and I realized that maybe it wasn't such a good idea offering a total stranger help, especially if it involved getting into a truck with him. The scene from Silence of the Lambs immediately came to mind and I shuddered slightly. But it was too late to turn back now.
He eyed me up and down and scoffed with a hint of amusement, "I think I'm better off on my own," he answered condescendingly and turned back around. I huffed angrily as I realized he thought I wasn't strong enough to help him. Who does this guy think he is?!
"I can clearly tell," I retorted as I watched him struggle some more. He looked over his shoulder and glared at me but I glared right back, trying not to cower in fear, before turning on my heel and walking off with my head held high. Good luck getting everything out at the dead of night, asshole.

The days passed by agonizingly slowly and already I felt like I had been in college for a year thanks to my hectic class schedule and lab work. Hanji was relentless with her experiments and demanded a lot out of me but at least she paid really well and the experience was priceless since I had none previously. Now that I think about it though, I bet she was just desperate to have someone else help since everyone knew Hanji's notorious and crazy reputation when it came to science. The only other person working in her lab was a sweet guy named Armin but our work schedules were usually staggered so I only saw him once or twice a week if I was lucky. Armin like me was also Biochem major and insanely smart. Instead of wanting to become a doctor though, he wanted to continue working in a lab like Hanji.
It was finally Friday and I was just cleaning up and correctly sorting all the DNA samples I had previously been inspecting under the microscope. Soon I could go home and take a nice, long bath and binge watch Doctor Who. My sweet reverie was interrupted with the lab door opening with a bang.
"Oi, Shitty Glasses, where are you?" an annoyed voice called. I looked over at the commotion and saw Hanji come bounding in from the other room and tackle the stranger. Was he her boyfriend or something? But then, why did he just call her that? The man was way shorter than Hanji and dressed in a white dress shirt and black dress pants with a black leather bag in one hand. He looked very suave and while his back was turned to me, I could still make out the black hair styled in a vaguely familiar undercut.
