I was about eight when I met her and something about her made me want to help her and be her friend even tho she was a little off. Her name was Sam and so I brought her to my family one day and she never left. After a year we became best friends we did everything together even tho we were completely different she was the girl who everybody looked up to and loved she talked to every body and was outgoing and I was just the awkward wall flower and a very shy girl and scared of some of the people in our town.
We always got into stuff that we weren't
suppose to , like one day it was so hot outside and I dared her to get into the pool down the hill , I didn't know she would actually do it but she did , the next thing you know we were both swimming in some strangers backyard swimming pool, but unfortunately we got caught but we never told out parents in till we got older. One day my mom asked sam if she would like to call her parents because it had been so long since she had spoken to them, they never called to check on her when she stayed with us . Sam said ok , an hour later her father comes to our house and to find out he was my moms old collage friend ,my mom said where is your wife ,he said she was in the car my mom said well Don't just stand there invite her in , so he called her out of the car and it was Sam's mother as high as the sky. Now we know why they don't care about their little girl running outside barefooted in the streets because they take so many pills they don't even know who they are.
A couple years later we were just Turing 11 and 12 so that's the year we decided to get our nose pierce , it hurt so bad a few months later SAMs house burned down at the time she was living with us. My mother invited them to stay with us because they had no where to go with Sam older sister and little brother. They were in our house for a while some things started to change even SAMs behavior she was becoming more and more rebellious. After a few months her parents finally moved out and she decided that she would like to try to live with them. But that didn't work out because four months later she was living from place to place and she was only eleven years old. After awhile she got tried of living here so she hitch a ride all the way to Saint Petersburg Florida where we were both born. And she stayed with her aunt who lives there. And for me I still stay the same in our small town Clarksburg. I haven't heard from Sam for year and after a year she finally called on my birth day to wish me a happy birth day , I just turned 14 , we talked a little on the phone, but after that she never called again in till her parents moved down there and her aunt kicked her out.
She called my mom crying saying she needs help and she has no where to go. So my mom flew a plane down there to get here and everybody we know told her not to get her but my mom went with her heart and picked her up anyways. So we picked her up on our way to our vacation destination. She was a little of, her stomach was always hurting and would sleep a lot during vacation time and never went into the beach , we assume she was pregnant but don't worry she wasn't she said she was just depress and she misses her family ,we said you weren't even living with them and why would leave then. So a after a week we arrived at home and got settled in and we all she past out that night because it was the longest ride home ever.
