After searching through the clothes I packed I finally decide on a pair or green shorts and a purple tank top. But I may have been taking longer than I thought because the door flies open with my shirt barely over my head. I squeal and pull my arms down and cover my chest as I whip towards the door. Sage is leaning in the doorway, his eyes glowing copper and a surprisingly dark grin on his face. He chuckles and pushes away from the door, licking his lips hungrily as he advances forward. I bite my lip to suppress a whine and squeeze my eyes shut in fear, not knowing what I have unwillingly gotten myself into. I jump slightly at the shocks on my ribcage as his fingers brush against my skin before grabbing onto my shirt. My eyes fly open in surprise when he pulls my shirt down, covering my body. I turn to look in his still copper eyes in surprise, but he just smiles at me goofily.

"Sorry." He chuckles, much lighter than before. "I didn't realize you'd still be changing." His eyes return to green as he takes a step back. "Although, I'm still not quite used to you being here yet."

"Oh." Is all I can think to say before he grabs my hand.

"Ready to go?" He asks.

I nod before silently slipping on my shoes and letting him pull me out the door, partially relieved and partially disappointed. I don't think I'd admit it out loud, but I kind of liked where that was going even if it was a bit scary. As we make our way towards the door Steffani intercepts us and escorts us back to the kitchen.

"There you are Des, we wanted to talk to you." She says pushing me out of Sage's grasp and into the kitchen.

Mama Wolf and Blair are the only ones in the kitchen now, and both Blair and Steffani have changed to a purple maxi dress and a light blue crop top with high waisted skinny jeans. Blair is staring down at her phone but looks up when Mama Wolf taps her arm. Sage stalks in the room after us and nods for Steffani to move and grabs my hand again.

"Uh, you wanted to talk to me?" I ask.

"Yes, we wanted to now if you want green as your color?" Mama Wolf smiles.

Before I can ask Jax comes panting into the room to report the rogues have been taken care of, and Phoebe is upstairs changing. Sage leaves my side to speak with Jax and I turn back to his family, well my family.

"Color?" I ask stepping towards the island where they are sitting.

"Yeah, see when we were little, mom picked a color for each of us since there were four of us and three of us look pretty much the same." Steffani smiles.

"I'm purple, Steff is blue, Phoebe is pink, Sage is orange, Sammy is yellow and Mama is white." Blair adds.

"And we kept it when we grew up because it keeps the house organized." Steffani continues.

"And when Jax joined the family he chose a color too. He's red." Blair adds again.

"And now you're a part of the family." Steffani smiles.

"So we need a color for you." Mama Wolf finishes.

"You seem to like green so we were wondering if you wanted green." Steffani notes.

"Well I'm pretty sure that's the only color left." I smile making them giggle. "Sure yeah, green is my favorite color anyway."

Suddenly they burst out laughing and I raise an eyebrow. Jax is laughing too and I glance around in confusion.

"Did I say something funny?" I ask innocently.

"Can we go now?"

I turn to see Sage looking up at me with his green eyes sheepishly with pink cheeks. My eyes widen at first before a large grin spreads on my face, he is really cute when he blushes.
