Arms

We were given arms for a reason. They offer so much relief to a person. They can be used to hug the ones u love or they can hurt the ones u love but seriously help yourself. They help u because they offer a canvas and a razor is the paintbrush. Most people don’t understand why people cut but that’s because they are able to find ways to deal with their personal pain. Cutting is a way some relieve pain because it gives them control over something in their life. It sounds really bad and stupid but it helps. when people cut they have too much stress and stuff going on and then the littlest mean comment (even joking) can upset the person because they have to go home and be perfect for their family and worry about if their gonna be okay and last till their 18 and move out. so when people tell others to stop cutting, u gotta take it slow and show them that u understand that they have a bunch of pain and u gotta tell them that u will always listen and support them in EVERYTHING  they do because if u judge even a little bit, they will be sad again because they always find faults in themselves and they know they’re stupid for being dramatic and wallowing in self-pity but that’s all they know for now and sometimes it’s too much to trust someone because you’ve been broken so many times that you truly believe you can’t trust anyone........ Hugs only go so far but a razor can be someone’s one companion who never leaves.
