Chapter Five (Surprise, surprise)

   Well it's been at about five weeks and three days since that kegger, and Teagan and I are becoming great friends. I'm tutoring her in algebra 1 and she's doing pretty good for a girlie girl. Leo calmed down really fast and he's been hanging out with me and Teagan. Which is actually a blast, when I thought it would be a drag. He still makes fun of Teagan from when she was hungover. Right about now I'm sitting in English 1 wishing that I was anywhere else but here.

    "Miss McKinley, would you like to answer? Miss McKinley? Hello?" Mrs. Riley said getting a little agitated.

   "Oh...um...what was the question again?" I asked.

   "Okay well it seems as if Miss McKinley hasn't been paying attention which buys her detention," she smiled and asked,"Ashton you always listen what's the answer to what a simile is?"

   "A simile is referred to "like" or "as"." he said.

   "Good," she went back teaching and I went back to thinking.

"Finally!" I yelled as the last bell rang. I walked to my locker and put my books up and pulled out a snickers bar. Gosh I'm just so hungry. I walked to Leo's car and waited on him and Teagan, who's car is parked next to Leo's.

   Teagan and Leo walked out the doors together laughing about something and when they reached me I knew what it was.

   "Yeah it was terrible lifting your fat ass out of my car," he said teasingly.

  "Shut up Leo, your just mad you can't touch my ass again," she said back.

  "Why would I wanna touch that nasty thing again. Ecckk!"

  "Wow...you just had to go there," she said getting agitated," I clean myself unlike you. "How would you know whether or not I clean mine? You been peeping on me?" He did a funny face and said," You ready to go Willow?"

   "Yeah," I hugged and kissed Teagan on the check and got in Leo's car.

   "Bye nasty ass!" Leo yelled as we drove off.

    "Screw you!" she yelled after him.

   "So...Willow you know you and your friend are crazy right?" Leo said jokingly," I've never seen you kiss anyone but her."

    "Yeah so?"

    "I just can't help but to keep thinking you're going lesbo on me," he said smiling.

   "What?! Have you lost your dang mind? I'm not a dang lesbo I've kissed plenty of guys," I said stretching the truth into a sort of lie.

   He pulled the car over," Oh really now? Like who? I've never seen or even heard of you dating or kissing a guy."

    He faced me,"I'm not going to tell you, because you'd just get jealous."

    "Oh really now. You think I'd get jealous of you kissing all of those amateurs?"

   "Amateurs? Really? What you think you're better than them?" I said.

   "I know damn well I am," he said getting closer to my face.

   We sat there and looked in each other's eyes and our noses were touching and I said, "Prove it."

   When I said that he leaned in, and I closed my eyes, and he kissed my check. Then I sat there with my eyes shut for like ten seconds and I opened them. He was leaned back staring at me with a smirk.
