Chapter 12

NATSUMI'S POV

I open my eyes slowly, blinking few times until I get used to the light in front if me. It was blurry at first, but soon to be clearer. I saw the ceiling of my guild.

I turn my head to the right and to the left, to see I'm inside of my guild's infirmary. I saw empty beds. So I was all alone. Like that day.

I slightly groan in pain as I felt my head being poke by a million needles. I held my head by my left hand and slowly massage it.

*CREAK*

I turn to where the infirmary door is as it slowly opens. It was Mira.

She closed the door behind her and slowly walk towards me. I continue to massage my head.

She sat on the bed beside me and tied to remove my left hand, I fought back because it lessen the pain on my head.

"You shouldn't be doing this Natsumi. You are still in pain you should have called me."

Mira said to me as she is the one who continue massaging my head. I sighed in annoyance on how she is and let her be.

"Ne, where is Mira-chan?"

"Oh! Morning Lucy! Mira went to the infirmary to check on Natsumi."

"Is that so? Thanks Lissana!"

I heard the conversation of Lucy and Lissana then soon after heard footsteps coming this way. What time is it anyway?

"Hey Mira"

I asked Mira as she hum.

"What time is it? Why am I here also?"

I ask as she slowly sighed. The door to this room I'm in slowly opened and saw Lucy. She closed the door behind her quietly and when she saw us, her eyes were wide and went beside Mira immediately.

Lucy looked at me and her eyes were like a relief as she saw me.

"Did you slept great?"

I nod and Mira stop massaging my head. Mira grab Lucy's hand and went to the other side of the room's corner. I slowly sat up and waited for them to be finish.

Suddenly, a flashback came. The flashback on my head was me holding out my hand in front of me is.... black orbs. Then..... it killed the.... Vanish brothers as they yelled in pain.

I hold my head with my two hands as I nervously shake in fear and at the same time, trembled.

"D....did I...?"

I shaking voice and mumble as I clutch my head harder, more like gripping my hair.

"Natsumi!"

I snap out and look in front of me. I saw Mira and Lucy with their eyes has an emotion of fear. They're finish on whatever they were talking bout.

I slowly, but still shaking a I remove my hands on my hair and trying to calm myself. Its not normal for me to have those flashbacks unless I did.... it....

"Are you okay?!"

I nod as they asked me different questions if I'm okay. I slowly close and open my eyes and tried to catch my breath, since they told me I was breathing fast.

When I'm calm down, I slowly sighed in relief and fall back down on the comfy bed.

I looked at Mira and Lucy with a serious and questioning eyes.

"The question I asked you Mira. What time is it? Why am I here?"

I asked with a stern and serious voice. Both of them sighed while I have an irk mark on my forehead.

"You've been in a deep slumber for 2 days Natsumi. And its currently morning. 8 maybe"

Lucy answered Natsumi. She just nod and turn her back against them.

"Let me sleep again...I felt like wanting it..."

Natsumi mumbled. The two heard it clearly even if it was a mumble and left the room, but stop when Mira was the one shutting the door.

"I'll bring your lunch later okay? Take a rest."

Mira said as she quietly shut the door. Natsumi got up as soon as she heard the door shut and look at her palm.

"Natsumi....."

Natsumi's eyes widen and looked around to search for the voice. No one is there. Natsumi groan and lay down again on the bed.

She tried to rub her forehead to ease the pain. After the voice said her name actually, the pain returns
