It was quiet. That night was so dark and the air oh so thick that even the stars didn't shine. Her eyes filled to the brim with tears she fought to keep from flowing the scars on her wrist burned more than the day they became open wounds. She was having a massive panic attack the kind that made a person so sick that even someone trying to calm them down would get sick. She couldn't breathe sleep think eat or anything important to living. She didn't have the energy to do anything either she wanted to kill herself so badly that it was taking over her life. She couldn't think about anything else besides the sweet embrace of death and the final sleep and how it would finally feel to sleep forever. She didn't want this but she couldn't help it. She tried so many times that it wasn't even funny how many times and how hard she tried. Her thoughts were often clouded with death or her best friend. He was often the only reason she would wake up and go to school some days even though she doesn't really see him more than a few seconds each day in the halls. He ignores her during that time, he does care about her but that's debateable. She texts him a lot like 30-40 messages and never expects a response she's learned better than that at this point. If she wants a quick response she has to text someone else.
She was upset beyond all imagination she texted him thank god he responded this time the conversation kinda went like this:
Her: Am I required to continue breathing?
Him: Is that a real question?
Her: I'm sorry my chest hurts and I don't wanna keep breathing
Him: Babe
Her: I'm sorry I'm like this
Him: Just take a moment to breath, okay? You can do it.
Her: No I can't I'm sorry
Him: Babe you can I promise you that. You're still here aren't you?
Her: Yea but I don't wanna be
Him: I know babe but I want you around so hold on just for me?
Her: Fine but remember I'm just doing it for you asshole
Him: I know plus I'm your asshole figuratively speaking
Her: Whatever smart-ass. Are you gonna be at practice?
Him: Yea you know the pit isn't complete without me
Her: Whatever I'll see you tonight then
Him: See you later babe Stay away from sharp objects you know I'll find out
"Ugh," she thought to herself."I have to stop promising him I won't do something stupid and seriously he has some sort of talent he keeps finding out when I fuck up and slip back into using a blade it's seriously creeping me out."
She sighed she knew she couldn't let him know that prior to their conversation she had already given into the temptation that her little silver devils gave her. He normally gave her a look full of sadness and disappointment. She hated it, she couldn't stand thinking he was upset with her. She couldn't handle be a disappointment to someone who meant so much to her...
