Earth to Echo 2

Chapter 1

Tuck's POV

I woke up this morning and everything was normal. It was Thursday and I had school. Ever since Munch and Alex left a year ago, it's been hard trying to find new friends. No one understood me like they did. So I pretty much spent a year grounded without friends and hated by my brother. Well that was until I got a call from Alex. I was doing a normal video when my phone rang. I was really surprised. I mean, I haven't heard from Alex or Munch since they moved. Emma still goes to school and we talked, but not much. It wasn't the same without the guys.

I picked up the phone and said, "Alex, man is that you?" I heard him say "Yeah it's me. Come over to my new house tonight. You know where it is right?" "Yeah, but why? We haven't talked in a year. Is Munch..." "Just get there at 5:30." Then he hung up. I'm just talking to myself on video sayin' things like "what the fudge is goin on," and "what." I decided to figure out what was going on. And I knew the only way to do that was to go to Alex's. From there is how this new story began.

2 hours later

I'm on the way to Alex's house on my bike. My mom wanted to drive me, but I insisted on riding. I wanted it just in case. I think she was reluctant to let me go, but let me because this would be the first time I saw my friends in a year

So now if you're wondering where I am, I'm riding through the desert, thr same one from last year, with only a couple of minutes until I reach Alex's. I am still mad at the fact that he hasn't called me in about a year and now just nonchalantly asks me to come over with no details. I mean, who does that. Well I guess Alex does. As of this point I really hope Munch doesn't do the same thing. 

10 minutes later

So I just got to Alex's and now I'm walking up the steps.

Bam! Munch opened the door and tackled me to the ground. My bag with all my cameras in it falls too. As soon as I can I jump up and run to my cameras.

"Dude, do you know how expensive these are?" I pick up my bag and check to make sure none of the cameras are broken.  "Tuck, just relax. He didn't mean any harm." Alex said as he walked outside with Emma.

At that moment, I took a couple seconds to look at my old friends. Munch looked almost exactly the same. Though he probably grew a little taller. Emma looked the same too, but that was probably because I've seen her less than a year ago.

Now Alex, well Alex had gotten taller and more muscular. They all still looked like my friends. 

I ran up to them and we had a group hug. Then we went inside to Alex's room.

Alex's room really looked different than his old one. I guess he took my advice after all. We all sat down and I finally asked, "Alex, why am I here? Is it important, or is it just to hang out. Either's fine, but I want to know." So he told me why.

"Yesterday I was walking to school and something wierd happened. My phone barfed again." Alex said.  I almost fell off the chair. "What?" "Just let me talk Tuck. So after that I ran home and called you. Then I called Emma and Munch. I think Echo needs us again." 

I got up and started walking around the room. "So you really think Echo needs us again?" "Yes, and Munch already found out where the map leads."

"The map is a map of a park a couple towns away. It would take us about 4 hours on bike there if we're fast." Munch said. "I think we should go." Emma said. "Cause if Echo needs us, then we should be there to help him."

"Everbody in?" Alex said. We all nodded and put our hands in the center of our circle. "Off we go." We all ran downstairs and ran straight into Alex's parents. "Where do you think you're going boys?" Alex's dad said. "Umm, to the store to look at some games." "Fine, but you better not stay out later than 7. If we find out you four went on an "adventure" again, then we will get all of you grounded for five years. Got it?"

We all nodded and ran out the door. We got on our bikes when Munch said, "Wait guys. Remeber the deal from last time? It still applies this time." He pulled out three helmets. The two from last year and  a newone I hadn't seen before. Alex and Emma claimed the new one and the black one and I was stuck with the purple one again.

And we were off, not knowing what was in store for us.
