Chapter 2: R5 Intro.

York Fair, York, Pennsylvania

Ross' POV

"You wanna call mom now?", Riker, my oldest brother, asked me and my siblings.

"Yeah, I really miss her.", I confessed. He dug his phone out of his pocket and hit some buttons on it as we huddled around the phone.

"Put it on speaker.", Rocky, another one of my brothers, said.

"OK.", Riker replied.

Ring.

"What are we doing?", my older sister replied oblivious to the world while video recording on her camera. We record some of our life and put it on YouTube. We call it R5TV.

"Calling mom.", I replied. My sister let out a long awww. We haven't seen mom since we left on tour. After this concert, we have a week until we have to be back in LA for our last Loud Tour concert. Then, home sweet home!

Ring.

"She's probably sleeping.", Rocky said casually breaking the silence. Everyone tried to reply to that at the same time but my answer came louder than everyone else's.

"Leave her a voicemail then.", I told him. He replied with a quick "Yea". More silence and waiting.

Ring.

Click.

"Mom!?!", I said unsure to whether she was on the line or not. Silence. I looked at the camera. Hearing her voice in the background made me and the rest of R5 start to grin. Voicemail.

Yay! Mommy! What? Don't judge me, I miss my mom.

Multiple 'Hi Mom' s, 'Hey Mommy' s, and 'Mom' s Filled the room.

"We're all uh backstage and we just wanted to call and tell you we love you.", Riker said.

"I love you guys!", mom said. We all felt that same warm feeling of happiness. We all smiled again. Rydel and Riker started giggling because like me, they are feeling that excitement love gives them. I smiled.

"Aww."

"We're missing you!", Rocky started and we all joined in. I decided to be funny.

"Mom!", I said over-top the other voices, "Mom! I need you! Rydel cant do my hair!"

Riker laughed at that then added "Yeah, she's having a rough time..." My brother joked.

"What?!?!" Rydel shot a glance.

I looked at her "Im kidding, Rydel! You're doing good!"

"She's having a rough time..." Riker commented and still played along laughing.

"im kidding! Im kidding!" I confirmed to her quietly.

"Its really Ross," Rocky said as he reached his hand to me, "just right here that needs fixing." he trailed off while brushing my hair to the side more.

"I think we're going on in like 30 minutes, I think. Uh, they're just switching the set over, but uh, we just wanted to call and say hi." Riker said calmly.

"Yeeuup." Rocky chimed in.

"I love you guys!" mom said.

"I love you mom!" Rydel added quickly.
