You were walking to go get your younger sister and brother from the bus stop when you saw a figure coming your way. It looked like Axel, your boyfriend from last year, but you had to break up because he moved half way across the country. Neither of you moved on, you couldn't, you loved each other. As you got closer to the figure you realized it was him. You were so surprised you couldn't help the smile spread across your face as you ran into his arms. He lifted you off the ground.
"You're back." You said still hugging him.
"I'm back." He breathed out. It felt so good to be in his arms again. As you let go, you remembered your siblings bus should be there any minute.
"Axel, I have to get (Y/S/N) from the bus."
"(Y/N) I know, come on, lets walk together." He said as you grinned widely and intertwined your hands as you walked to their bus stop.
The bus was late and parents cars were parked along the sidewalk. Once you were standing you finally turned to Axel, "When did you get back?" You asked curiously.
"Last night, I was trying to plan this, so I called your parents making sure you were picking (Y/S/N) up today, and getting stuff ready for school, which I start tomorrow." At this point you were facing towards each other but both your hands were intertwined with his, and you bit your lip.
"I missed you so much Axel."
"I missed you too. It feels like it's been ages since I last saw you in person and not on my computer screen, and let me just say, I almost forgot you look even more beautiful in person." You just smiled, which you've been doing a lot these past couple of minutes. You went on your toes and pecked him on the lips, nothing major, but it meant just as much, even more.
The bus soon came and my brother and sister got off. They saw Axel and ran into his arms. They loved Axel, he was always so sweet with them. I think they were almost as heart broken as I was when he left. "(Y/N), when your parents come home to watch the kids, I have a surprise for you." He said as he reconnected your hands and you walked with the little ones racing to get home, you still made sure they were in sight.
"I hate surprises."
"It was a surprise that I was coming back?" He frowned and looked over at you.
"That's different, I wasn't informed that there was going to be a surprise in the first place."
"I have a question."
"Ask away," I replied ready to answer any questions he has for me.
"Did you date anyone after I left? Or liked anyone?"
"No. I didn't because I knew if what we had was real, you would come back, and I didn't want someone I barely cared about in the way of someone I love." You got to the house and decided to sit on the porch. you sat on his lap, and he was rubbing small circles on your hands. "Can I ask you a question?" You said. It's been a while since he asked, you're almost certain he hasn't, at least he hasn't told you that he liked/ was involved with someone else.
"Anything." He mumbled in your neck.
"Did you like someone else, or get involved with anyone else?" You asked, he sighed.
"I kissed someone else, just a kiss, I swear, and I was drunk, my brother stopped me, (Y/N), please don't be mad," you turned around and smiled, clearly he wasn't expecting it. You kissed him and you could tell he was relieved. He pulled away first, "You're not mad?"
"I'm jealous, but we both said, if we wanted we can move on-"
"But thats the thing, (Y/N) I didn't want to." He cut you off and you laughed.
"Axel, can I finish?"
"Yeah, sorry."
"It's okay. As I was saying, we weren't dating, it didn't mean anything, and plus you told me when I asked, and I find it so cute how scared you were, so no, I'm not mad." He smiled and pulled you in closer.
"I do love you (Y/N)
