"I will not accept defeat!" I cried. "This wall must be destroyed, bring me every Serpentine..." I stopped. I studied the wall closer. "It looks like you Scales," Constricti General pointed out. "That's impossible!" I replied. Although it did seem true. I put my face right up to the wall and looked at it. There was one spot that was a lighter shade of green and it poked out. A button? I tapped it. Sure enough, the door slid and a room appeared in front of us. "Spooky," I hissed. I pulled a lever and torches were lit everywhere. "Spooky," I repeated. In front of us was a huge room filled with torches and metal statues of soldiers everywhere. I felt like we should leave. The other Serpentine had already left and went exploring. Suddenly, the Devourer's green venom dropped through the ceiling and into the metal statues. The statues glowed a green light and appeared as stone warriors. "It's a trap! Attack!" I ordered. Since not all the stone warriors had been activated, we outnumbered them. "They're indestructible!" Someone called. "Our powers have no effect!"someone else added. "Do we retreat?" Venomari asked. "No regret, we fight!" I called. I took out the ones surrounding me by hitting them with my tail. All around me we seemed to be winning, but the army just got back up. Ever stilly we were all taken down and they just kept coming. I realized they were walking out the exit. I tried to get in the way, but they ran me over. "We'll be trapped underground again," someone said. "It can't be true, nooo!" I cried as the door slammed shut. The stone warriors had been released and we had been locked underground. Again.
