It was a beautiful day with sun shining ever so brightly down upon the joyful kingdom. You could faintly see the stars and galaxies above. The waters twinkled in the sunlight and all around you can hear the sounds joy and laughter from the people of Asgard. They all gathered at the palace throne room awaiting the coronation, excited to watch their new king be crowned.

Elsewhere in the palace a young woman who wore a light blue formal Asgardian dress that flowed out below the waist who also had dark blue eyes and blonde hair smiled as she walked over to two men that had their backs facing towards her. One had blonde hair and the other had black. "My brothers, I sense your excitement for this day" she said with a large grin and they both turned around. The blonde one smiled boldly and walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Why of course I am excited, dear sister. For this is my coronation day!" His voice was boisterous and full of excitement. The young woman chuckled.

"You look lovely, Calandra" commented her other brother who still stood where he was when she entered. Calandra smiled and nodded towards him, "As do you, Loki." A guard then entered the room and all three of them turned their attention to him. He nodded at them and looked at the blonde brother, "Prince Thor, it is time." Thor then smiled widely and the guard exited the room. "Let us celebrate this day for years to come!" Thor said in his boisterous voice with a smile.

"Loki and I shall be in the throne room awaiting your arrival" Calandra said as she walked over to Loki and they both made their way into the throne room to their spots. Calandra stood off to the side next to her mother, Queen Frigga. She smiled to her and Frigga returned it. They all turned as they heard cheers indicating that Thor has entered. Calandra held a genuine smile to her face as she watched her brother happily approach the throne. He knelt down onto one knee and look to his friends on one side then looked to his family on the other, giving Frigga a wink, in which she returned with an eye roll. He looked to their father and All-father, Odin, who now stood at the throne. He began the oath to Thor.

Just before Odin actually crowned Thor he stopped abruptly and whispered "The frost giants" and turned his head. A confused expression rose to Calandra's face as Odin, Thor and Loki rushed out of the throne room. She looked over to her mother who held a grim expression. "Does he mean that the frost giants are here in Asgard?" Calandra asked her mother. Frigga turned to look at her, "I believe so, or else he wouldn't have rushed out of the room with your brothers." Calandra held a worried expression and looked off into the direction of where they rushed off to. "Calandra, go to your quarters and stay there until this is settled" her mother ordered and Calandra obeyed, quickly leaving the room into the direction of her quarters. She just hoped that the frost giants weren't roaming around the palace.

Once in her quarters she closed the door and made sure it was lock. Calandra rushed over to the balcony doors and did the same. With a sigh, she fell onto her bed with worry rushing through her body. Her hair laid out on the bed, with her eyes wide open becoming aware of her surroundings. She waited patiently to see when this will all over.

There was a knock on her door and she rose to her feet at the mention of her name from the other side. Calandra cautiously opened the door to see a guard standing there. "Queen Frigga told me to inform you that it is safe to exit your room." Calandra smiled at the guard and quietly said a thank you before closing her door again. She walked over to her balcony doors and unlocked them, then made her way out of her room and down the hall.

Suddenly as Calandra turned the corner, she heard a loud crash come from the dinning hall nearby and sped up her pace to see what had happened. She quickly entered the room to see the large table flipped over and all the food spread across the floor. She looked around to see Thor and Loki sitting together on the small steps that lead to a large balcony. She also saw a distressed Volstagg picking up food from another table and Fandral, Hogun and Sif all looking over toward Thor and Loki. Calandra made her way over to her friends as they watched Loki talking to Thor. Suddenly, Thor stood with an angered face which has held since Calandra enter. He looked to Loki and said loudly, "It's the only way to ensure the safety of our borders." "Thor, it's madness" Loki said in a slightly quiet tone. "Madness? What sort of madness?" Volstagg questioned.

"Uh- It's nothing. Thor was merely making a jest" Loki answered. "The safety of our realm is no jest" Thor corrected Loki, glancing over to him, "We're going to Jotunheim" Thor announced, looking to all of us. Loki sighed and rose a hand to his forehead. Calandra cleared her throat, "Not me, though. We all know I am not one for violence or frost giants for that matter." Fandral laughed questionably at Thor, "What?"

"Thor, of all the laws of Asgard, this is the one you must not break" Sif said while giving Thor a seriously look. Fandral then added, "This isn't like a journey to Earth where you summon a little lightning and thunder, and the mortals worship you as a god" he started to approach Thor while also holding a serious expression, "This is Jotunheim."

"If the frost giants don't kill you, your father will" Volstagg also added to which Calandra nodded in agreement. "My father fought his way into Jotunheim, defeated their armies and took their casket. We would just be looking for answers," Thor said while still trying to convince them that this is a good idea. "It is forbidden" Sif said in a seriously tone. Thor laughed and then started, "My friends, have you forgotten all that we have done together?" With that, Thor walked up to each of their friends and reminded them of things they have done. "My friends, trust me now. We must do this" Thor said after his little speech. Calandra sighed for there was no way to get him to change his mind. "You're not going to let my brother and me take all the glory, are you?" Thor added. Loki looked up suddenly with a grim look, "What?" Thor looked down at him confusedly, "Well you are coming with me, aren't you?" Loki turned to him with a smile, "Yes, of course" then he stood up next to him, "I won't let my brother march into Jotunheim alone."

Calandra turned to her friends for their reaction to this. "And I," Volstagg added suddenly. Fandral sighed and nodded while turning to Thor and Loki, "and I." To which they smiled and Hogun added, "and I, the Warriors Three fight together." Sif looked to Thor and Loki, "I fear we'll live to regret this" and slightly bowed with her arm across her chest before turning around, with the Warriors Three following her after Volstagg quickly picked up some food. "If we're lucky," he said with a laugh and they exited the dinning hall. Calandra sighed loudly once they all left. She did not like their idea one bit, but it was not her decision. She felt that something bad will happen because of this and for that she will remain having no part in it.
