Prologue

                      Skyla was a "queer" girl according to people. Well to a lot of people actually. Her hair is black and teal. Most people say she looks rediculous! But she expressed her inner self through her looks. Black jeans, band t-shirts, beanies, bracelets and one tattoo located on her left thigh. At 16 she has a tattoo. This tattoo is two swords behind a skull. The tattoo means a lot to her because her best friend had it. A very, very close friend whom died of a skating accident. She takes that marking on her skin as a sign of bravery and she proudly does the foolish and retarded shit that is madness to other people.She is never afraid to do
dangerous stuff. The little friends she had respected her however. Sky had a rough life growing up, her brother killed, her parents divorced and a crushing recent breakup between her and her ex boyfriend Derek. She was abandoned by most people because of how she acts or how she is. Only her boyfriend and 3 friends know the truth about sky, and they swore on their lives to keep the secret and protect her. Sky's new boyfriend,Conor, who was a long time friend before is worried about her the most. He is away in Northern Ireland and cannot be with her to help. On the other hand her 3 friends, Jack, Izzy, and Sean try to help her the best they can. Sky finds her hope in reading. Regularly she could be found sitting at a table with her iced coffee reading horror books. Horror. With that word most people get a shiver down Thier spine. Not Skyla. Horror is her life. Anything spooky, supernatural, mythical, legendary, or scary. She has  the first copy to hit the shelves and she's either reading or watching it. That is..until she read "The Book Of Horrors".
