Six years ago a horrible war broke out. World War 3 had begun, and no one was prepared for its terrifying effects. Town after town was blown to bits. Tens of millions of ordinary civilians died why doing everyday things. And family after family lost loved ones to the army. This war is the deadliest that the world has ever seen, and it has no hint of stopping. The two leading countries that started everything were America and China. The tension had kept growing between the worlds superpowers, until a bomb exploded in New York City, it killed thousands, and injured millions more. The bomb had come from none other than China. From a single bomb a whole war started. Japan, Canada, and most of Europe came to America's aid. Why China had called in Russia, Korea, India, and Brazil. In the time leading up to the war North Korea had taken over South Korea with the help of China and Russia. This had almost started a world war on its own, but South Korea was destroyed before the U.S. could even lift a finger. So they were one country under North Korean law. Most people in the southern part of Korea still believed to be separate, but they dare not say it in public. If they did they would be shot down on sight. The war had effects on every country in the world, whether they were involved in the war or not. Spies were in every country and were hard to avoid. Those that had any use world be taken hostage, and would be questioned until they had no use left, then they would be killed on enemy territory. One girl thought she would be safe. Her small town had no use to be blown up for, and she held no useful information. But she was wrong in a million ways. Her name was Valerie Rose Stewart.
