POV STAR
"Uh... Marco?" I say, looking at his bruised and bloody face and arms. "I know your aim is off but Red is one there."
"You really are stupid huh?" Red rolls her eyes, her clothes all cut up and dirty. "You already forgot I can control Marco?"
"Actually..." I smile awkwardly, "yes."
"Well he's all I need to kill you." Red smiles. "How sweet it will be for him to puncture your lung for me."
"You and I have different definitions of sweet." I scowl.
"So Marco Diaz," Red smiles. "Shoot Star Butterfly."
Marco draws his bow and looks at with those blank eyes.
I hold back tears. "Ok Marco. Shoot. It's ok."

POV MARCO
Everything is blurring and dark. I can't make out shapes, everything just mushed together. I know I'm standing up and I have my bow drawn but I can't tell at what. Voices are floating around me but I tell who's saying what. Everything is confusing. What is happening? I can barely see my feet, and I can tell my hard has a huge gash across it I just don't know where. My senses are gone and I feel weak. I close my eyes and take deep breaths.
"C'mon Marco. Focus. Who is speaking to you?"
I can hear voices and slowly I can make out the words they are saying. One says shoot her and the other says shoot me. They were agreeing, although I don't know who they are.
"Concentrate." I mumble. Who are they people. Soon I figured out they are girls. But who are they. My finger begins to slip on the bow.
"C'mon Marco!" I scream to myself. The world around me is shifting and soon everything is still blurry, but not as blurry. I can see something yellow and something black.
"Hello?" I wonder. My mouth won't open.
"It's ok Marco." Someone says. "Just shoot me. Trust me I'll be ok."
"S-S-Star?" I stutter. I still can't move but things become clearer. Perfectly in focus.
I can see Star smiling in front of me. She nods and winks.
And laughs.
"Marco it's ok. Shoot."
"No." I think. "I can't. DONT SHOOT!"
"Shoot." A voice demands. I have to listen to this voice. But I can't.
Star.
Star I can't shoot you.
I can't.
But my finger slips.
And I watch the arrow enter the reappearing blurriness.

POV STAR
OF COURSE I HAVE A PLAN! Man whoever thought I was going to actually take an arrow and freaking die is stupid beyond belief.
"Hey Red." I smile as I catch Marco's arrows with it inches from my throat.
"Why you little..." She creates two shadow swords and full armor.
"Let's see how good you are at dodging." I throw the arrow in the air and catch it on the light bow I had just made.
"Try breaking this armor!" She snaps.
"I will." I nod. Like a fuse, I loght the butt of the arrow and let go at the same time. I watch the arrow fly a little slower than the speed of sound. It goes through her armor and pushes her back with such force that it sticks through her wing and attached her to a wall. She screams with pain.
"I tried and I succeeded." I nod. "Guess you should be modes carful with how you challenge people."
I walk away as watch Marco as he blinks fast and rubs his eyes.
"Star?" He mumbles as he pulls his hands away from his face.
"Hey!" I smile at him.
"Did I... Did I hurt you?"
"Quite the opposite." I smile and point to Red.
"Oh yeah!" He scream. "End of the line Red!" And picks up his bow.
"Marco," she breathes. "Remember? It's Lily! Your girlfriend! Remember all the fun we had! We were royalty! Our tree on the Light Planet? All of the time spent together!? We are dating! C'mon remember that! It was great!"
"You know what else is great!" He snaps. "Not being a puppet to a bat winged freak."
"Seriously? What's wrong with my bat wings!?" Red asks.

POV MARCO
"My first instinct was to slaughter you," I mumble. "But since you stopped controlling my mind... I can think a lot more rational."
"Wait, what?" Star says. "Red was controlling you?"
"It took me a while to figure it out," I laugh a little to myself. "But I'm a lot smarter than you thought."
"I-I." Red hisses in pain. I walk towards her.
"You've been making me feel anger towards Red in hopes that you would have time to change Star into you." I look at her, "But that would have backfired big time if Star hadn't broken your subconscious focused. So now that my mind is clear I've decided to spare your life."
"What?" Red days shocked.
"What!?" Star says even more shocked. I pull out a box and look at Red right in the eye.
"Star can you hold her down?" I ask.
"Er..." Star shrugs. "Light Gear?" Light hand spring from the ground and grab Red.
"How dare you use my own spell against me!" She shouts. I walk up to her and open the box.
Red struggles a bit. I take out the flask-thing Civ had given me back on the Light Planet. I smile, because I knew every last drop of her magic would be gone now.
And so stab her shoulder with the pointy tip.
And Red screams in pain as black magic flys everywhere. I fly back into a wall and hear my back crack. I hiss in pain as my vision becomes spotty and watch the shadows fly out of Red and scream like they were alive. The flask in her shoulder explodes and the magic is gone. They stop and Star releases her. I lowly get up.
All seems really quite and still.
"Red I'm sorry." I mumble. "But you brought this on yourself."
"You monster!" She screams, tears running down her face. "How am I supposed to protect the people who can't protect themselves?"
"By not making giants that destroy their houses." Star laughs.
"Uh..." I hear Jason groan. "What happened?"
"Oh hey guys!" I smile awkwardly and rub the bak of my neck.
"God Marco you look like you were run over by a stampede of horses." Jade jokes.
"Hey look out Red's behind you!" Adam warns.
"Calm down. I took her magic." I smile and hear Red cough.
"Want me to send her to the light prison?" Jason asks. I nod and he stands and opens a portal with his scythe.
"Hope to see you soon Marco." Jason waves with a smile. He grabs Red and drags her by the ratty shirt into the prison.
"You coming?" Jade asks as she motions towards a portal she had just open. I can see the W&WS academy, on the white planet like usual with all it's white-ness.
"Nah I'm good." I smile and put my arm around Star, friend-like. "We should probably go home."
"Remind Jason to bring my parents back, ok?" Star yells to Jade and Adam.
"Ok." Adam shouts back. "It was nice meeting the real you. You're a lot cooler than that other one!"
"Thanks?" Star says. Jade throws a knife into a wall and as soon as it lambs a portal appears.it shifts and soon I see Star's bedroom.
"Wanna go home?" I ask, happily. Star nods and we walk through.
And collapse onto the floor as soon as our feet hit the wood.
Man... It's been a killer six months.
