What if ghosts have the power to warp anywhere they want and whatever they're holding goes with them? Maybe that's what happens to things that are lost and never found. Also, what if part of their soul is lost every time it warps? Then I brought up this; maybe when the soul is completely gone it passes over. And then I started thinking. What if I ghost gains the ability to possess things but only when they only have one or two more (I'll just call it soul fragments for the sake of not knowing what else to call it) soul fragment(s) and depending on how strong and pure the soul in the living being was, the more powerful the possession. So picture this; your friend is acting significantly different than they usually act. Maybe it's because a ghost has it grip on your friends soul. Let's just say your friend is acting more friendly. Perhaps the ghost was a kind and caring person when they were alive. Now let's say that your friend is acting more hateful and close-minded. Maybe the ghost was bullied and forced into seclusion as a living being. As a result, it turned into a mean, hateful, secretive person. It's just something to think about. So next time your friend is acting differently, they may not be the one causing it. They could be possessed. If and when your friend returns to normal, it may mean the ghost has left and the person is no longer possessed. Think about that.
