"You motherfücker! I can't believe you!" I kicked at the back of his seat. Anger and betrayal moved through me like a flood. "I'm going to kill you!"

~Fourty-Five Minutes Earlier~

"Vince is here so I'm going out now!" No reply. Oh well, it's not like I needed one anyway.

I opened the door and walked out. Woah. A black Lamborghini Aventador sat parked in my driveway. My driveway! I nearly fainted.

"Holy shït, Vince!" He pushed off the car with a smirk.

"I'm guessing you like it." I nodded my head, mouth agape. Vince opened his mouth to say something else but his phone buzzed and he took a moment to answer. While that was going on, I observed Vince's attire.

He wore an expensive pair of black shoes, some dark skinny jeans, and a white V-neck with a black, formal vest over it. I stared down at my white Vans, dark blue skinny jeans, white tank, and black leather jacket. Well, I feel underdressed.

"Okay, you ready to go?" I smiled and started towards the passenger side.

"Yeah, fifty years ago." He rolled his eyes and got in the driver's seat. I stared blankly ahead. He's such a gentleman. I sat down and shut the door. We were off.

"So, where do you think we're going?" I shrugged. "That's it? You suck, Rosy." I slowly turned my head to him and glared. The nerve of this guy.

"How far away is it?" He turned at the light and a cop car sped past us after some old, rusty car. I faced the window.

"About ten minutes." I felt his gaze touch the side of my face and I stiffened. "Don't worry, Romano, it'll be a great surprise."

My eyebrows sewed together in confusion. Why did he say it like that? Am I going to die? Probably. I gave Vince a lazy thumbs up and studied the passing, city lights. Soon, they started to disappear as we drove down a deserted road surrounded by trees.

"Eris?"

"Hmm?"

"What do you know about your family?" I gulped. He is going to kill me. Dear God.

"What do you mean?" He chuckled but it sounded a little forced.

"Like, do you know anything about your dad's past, your mom's past, your grandparent's past?" Hesitantly, I shrugged. Vince said nothing else and sped up in the fancy car.

Suddenly, I felt extremely uncomfortable with Vince. I tried to sneak a peek at him but he almost caught me and there probably would've been questions. The sky darkened and stars began to spread wildly across it. I sighed. The sky was always a beautiful view to me. I preferred the night over the day because of how gorgeous the burning stars appeared.

I'm not saying clouds suck, I'm just saying they could do a little better. They just look out of place sometimes. "Almost here." I glanced at Vince and noticed his straight and emotionless face.
