Part 39

Paris

I got up off of the stairs after watching Raven drive off and I went inside. I made my way into the bedroom and grabbed some sweats and a big t-shirt, then I grabbed my towel and went into the bathroom. I locked the door and hopped into the shower, I must've been in the shower for a while because I heard Adriana knocking on the door.
"Sweetie are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm fine thanks." I said while turning off the water and stepping out of the shower.
"Alright then. I'll be in the living room if you need me."
I dried myself off and put on my clothes, draping the towel over my shoulder I opened the door and went back to Josh's room. I tossed the towel on one of the chairs and laid down in bed. The door opened up and it was no other than Josh.
"What do you want?"
"Are you seriously mad at ME? I'm the one that's mad Paris."
"Yes you have the right to be mad Josh but I'm a grown woman and I'm sick and tired of you treating me like a child. I'm a witch I have fucking powers to protect myself. You're so worried about me not listening to you and going behind your back but you've been keeping secrets about me." I sat up in bed and folded my hands across my chest.
"I wasn't  keeping it a secret, it was never the right time."
"Bullshit, it was always the right time. Are you ashamed of me Josh? Is that why you didn't tell them I was pregnant, or that I was a witch, or that I was being hunted?"
"Stop being ridiculous, I would never in my whole entire life be ashamed of you. I love you Paris, you and JP are my world."
"I'm just tired of all of this fighting. Do you want me to say that you're right Josh? Do you want me to be submissive to you? I'm trying my best here okay, I'm scared, everyone is dying and it's my fault and you're always trying to control what I do."
Tears started coming down my face and Josh came to sit down beside me.
"I need to protect you Paris. I know you can handle yourself but I don't want you to. These people are heartless and cruel they won't stop just because you're pregnant. I know you're scared but you don't have to keep it all to yourself."
"I love you Josh even though you get on my damn nerves but don't be hard on Raven it was my decision to go with her."
"I just don't want my family hurt."
He grabbed my face and kissed me. "Tomorrow we tell them the truth."
"That's all I ever wanted."
He took his shirt off and pulled me down on the bed with him.
"You know babe, I can't recall the last time we've had sex."
"Josh your mother and your aunt are in the living room."
"I guess you'll have to be quiet then."
He pulled down my sweats and threw them on the chair.
"Josh. Stop." I whispered.
"Paris. No."
"Smart ass."
As soon as I said that he entered inside of me with his fingers and then moved them out. It was a slow rhythm and a small moan escaped my mouth.
"Oh babe that was sexy." He said placing his mouth on mine.
Slowly he entered me and my hand went up to cover my mouth. He smirked as he moved in and out of me. He was doing this on purpose and as wrong as this is, it was turning me on. He was moving with more speed and I was building up. My nails were digging into his back and I was biting down on my lip as we both reached our high. He collapsed beside me on the bed with a smile on his face.
"Asshole." I said in between breathes.
"But you love this asshole."
"That is yet to be proven."
Josh picked up a pillow and lightly hit me.
"It was proven when you moaned for me."
"Hitting a pregnant woman, you are so abusive." I said avoiding his comment.
"Mhm." He kissed me and then pulled me to his chest.
Josh was so comforting that I fell asleep instantly.

"Oh dear, so now what do we do?" Adriana asked.
"It's time to call the coven." Katrina said.
"I agree with mom." Josh said.
"I second it." Raven stated.
"How long will that take?" I asked Katrina.
"Two, three days max. It's hard to say, but the main priority is keeping you and that grand baby safe."
"Hey Paris, do you want to have a little slumber party with me tonight?" Raven asked.
"Yeah, of course. I couldn't think of anything better."
"Just don't talk about me to much ladies."
"Talk about what? How you used to be scared to pee because you thought a monster would come out of the toilet and eat your wiener?"
"Hey we're not supposed to discuss that anymore."
I burst out laughing so hard that I am forced to go to the bathroom. For some odd reason I feel dizzy and I can't move to make it to the bathroom.
    "Josh!" I'm really freaking out and he heard it in my voice so he's by my side in a flash, "Something's wrong. I can't move."
Something smells fishy and I can't put my finger on it but this isn't normal, it's like I'm stuck in a dream but I'm wide awake.
     "What's wrong?" Raven comes behind me and holds my back.
     "I... I don't know." I fell to my knees and started screaming, a high pitched noise was ringing in my head and my hands against my ears couldn't stop it. This has to be some kind of magic spell, but from who.
    "Help me get her to the bed Raven."
They lifted me up off the ground and guided me into the bedroom.
   "I need the magic book Josh." I grunted in pain.
   "You didn't bring a magic book."
   "Car glovebox."
Five seconds later he brings the book towards me and it starts to glow. It jumps out of his hand and comes over towards me.
    "I missed you too Sapphire, now if you would please tell me what's going on and who's doing it." I commanded.
The book flipped through the pages and stops.
    "It's a siren spell cast by Nick."
    "What's that?" Raven and Josh ask in unison.
    "It causes you to be paralyzed while a song plays to you, if you're a male it's sweet but if you're a woman it sounds like nails on a chalkboard. I need to make a counter spell before I lose control and my body becomes helpless." I read the counter spell and my face screwed up in disgust. "I need some cow tongue, some bay leaves, rosemary, some hot water, and a bottle."
Hopefully we can get this cow tongue because it's a very odd thing to have.
"Josh I need you to stay by my side and make sure I don't go anywhere."
He shook his head and Raven left out the room.
The ringing in my head was getting worse it was bringing out my tears and I couldn't control my body. Josh was holding me down by my arms and telling me it would be okay.
"Do you remember the first time I met you?"
"You're just trying to distract me."
"Would you answer the question."
"Of course I remember I was being a sarcastic bitch and you still chose to talk to me. I was kind of hesitant to accept your offer, but I had mace with me so I would've been good."
"You were thinking about macing me?"
"You remember when you dropped me off and gave me a kiss. I was so happy and giggly until I remembered I left my car at work."
   "I remember everything about you Paris, the way your hair was curled, how nice your jeans looked on you, your cheeks turning red, and most of all how nice your lips were looking."
Who would've thought I would be pregnant and have a wonderful boyfriend? Who would've thought I'd become a witch and that my Nana would die? Life is such a mysterious thing.
