CHAPTER TWO
“What do you want, looser?” Toby sneered.
Tony slumped his shoulders against the bathroom wall.
“I-”
“Shut up!” Daren yelled angrily. He punched the skinny boy into the shoulder. Daren found him snooping around and he almost squealed on them for skipping first period. It angered him. Ryder grabbed Tony’s wrist and Tony let out a yelp. Just then the guys heard the bathroom door open and Daren quickly shoved Tony in the closest stall. Mr. Derskumber came in and looked at the gang suspiciously. Darn. It was time to slip away. The group casually walked out.
Daren let out a stream of swear words. Screw that squealer. The bell rang out. He had three more classes to go. The guys separated again and Daren headed for History class. Boring. He sat in his seat in the back and took out his iphone and covered it behind the desk. He scrolled his finger on the screen, down his list of contacts and clicked on Mike. Daren send a quick text.
Daren: Hey man
Mike: dude! How do u survive lit as ur first p.???
Daren: that’s why I skip
Mike: no duh
Daren: hey just saw hot chick, right side 2 chairs down ;)
Mike: I thot u got a gf already
Daren: broke up last week, too boring u know all sissy :P
Mike: haha
Daren: g2g check out that cutie
Mike: sure, c ya
Daren texted Ryder. That dude knew like every cute girl in school. And dated half of them!
Daren: hey, saw cutie in history p. mr. fatface class
Ryder: whats up? Got an eye on her?? J who fatface/
Daren: mr.fasfisle
Ryder: oh right. I think that’s Ashley shirley or something
Daren: thanks,
Ryder: what r u gonna do about the parent phone call?
Daren: take it easy man! Whtevr
Ryder: yeah ttyl teacher looking
Daren grinned. He just got to date that chick. He checked her out. Burnett, nice figure, cute spotless face and she seemed cool enough. Perfect. The teacher interrupted his thoughts.
“Please form into pairs and we’ll head to the library.”
Pairs formed quickly and Daren headed toward Ashley Shirley.
