It was the moment she saw him. In that moment she knew he would either steal her heart, break it, or strengthen it into something she had never even dreamed of. He wasn't like the other guys who had caught her eye before. It could have been on the way he held himyself, how he commanded respect and attention from everyone in the room, or how he amazed her with only a single word. It was then, when he spoke his first word in her presence that she felt something blossom within her. She felt something start to stir that she had long tried to oppress. She felt the prospect of hope. What was she supposed to do? Taken at such a surprise and enlightened to something she thought was lost. What was she supposed to say, how was she supposed to live knowing that he had such a power over her, yet he had only said a single word? How was she to know?
