Injuries And Relief

David's P.O.V.

I'm in my room doing homework with a million people texting me and asking me about the big fight.

It was one week ago when the fight happened. The principal judged very wrong and when we got Matt to the nurse's office she freaked out and called 911.

Matt and The Master were taken to the hospital. Chris and I rode with Matt. When we got there we found out Matt had a concussion and a broken arm a long with a lot of bruises.

Matt's friend Amy had been beaten up a little too. But all that happened to her was she had a minor concussion.

The doctor said that Matt's wounds were minor and he should be getting back to school in about a week.

He goes back tomorrow. He has a cast, and he will have a cast for another 4 weeks.

The whole idea of the fight I couldn't wrap my head around. It was unbelievable what happened. Matt was like another person beating up The Master. And when the knife got pulled out it got even more crazy. I just never thought me or Matt or anyone could get wrapped up in something like this. It's crazy, absolutely insane. 

Matt's P.O.V.

I was lying in my bed. It's hard to describe how I'm feeling. Well for one I have an arm that hurt like hell when I became conscious again.

David told me what happened or at least part of what happened. When he saw me he said I was bleeding from my head and my nose. And he told me he was disgusted when The Master apparently sliced my arm with his knife.

I don't remember what happened after The Master punched me really hard in the stomach and head. I had to count on Amy to tell me what else happened. She said that every time The Master tried to hit her I would always get back up and fight him.

Then 12 hours later I woke up in a hospital bed with tubes attached to my arm and bandages all around me. I seriously felt like some kind of mummy.

The doctor explained to me that I would get a cast on my arm. He said that I had a very deep cut in my right forearm. The blade that cut me apparently cut my bone if that seemed possible.

I'm going to school tomorrow, I wonder what it'll be like. People will probably try to ask what happened in the fight and I won't be able to give them an answer.

David told me that The Master is leaving the school and going to a boarding school on the other side of town. That's a relief, I'm glad I won't have to get in another fight with him. And I'm glad he won't hurt me or anyone else I care about.

It's probably best for me to get some rest for tomorrow. School is definitely going to be different without The Master around.
