Hinahanda ko na ngayon yung sarili ko para sa school. First day of school kasi ngayon at hindi ako excited. Well, hindi naman sa ayaw kong pumasok. Ayaw ko lang talaga yung mga taong nagaaral sa pinapasokan ko...

Napatigil naman ako sa pagsusuklay ng buhok ko nang may kumatok sa pinto.

Ako: "yes?"

Maid: "young miss, handa na po ang sasakyan"

Ako: "i'll be right there for a few minutes, you may go now"

Maid: "as you will"

Huminga ako ng malalim nang marinig kong nakaalis na siya. As i finish readying myself, i went to my side table and get my alarm clock to check the current time.

*05:23am*

Haist... I know that it is odd to go to school as early right now. Meron lang talaga akong iniiwasan kaya ako gumigising ng maaga. And it's kind of complicated to explain.

When i finish pony-ing my hair, i took a glance in the mirror. I wear my eyeglasses then i stare at myself at the mirror for a second. All check, not too flashy get up and just normal.

Napatingin naman ako sa mini cabinet ko kung saan nakalagay sa taas ang dalawang picture frame. Ang isa ay nagpapakita ng picture naming tatlo nila mommy at daddy. Samantala, ang isa ay solo picture ni mommy na nakangiti. Naglakad ako papunta dito.

Kinuha ko ang picture ni mommy at may biglang nag flashback na isang alaala nung bata pa ako.

*flashback*

"mommy"

Nakataas ang dalawang kamay ko kay mommy at namumugto ang mata ko sa pag iyak. Tumigil sa pag huhulma ng harina si mommy at nakangiting tumingin sakin.

"ow, what happened sweetie?"

She bend down and cupped my face. I just pouted my lips then i hug her, very tight.

"mommy, are you going to leave me?"

I felt moms body becomes stiff then after that she strokes my hair downwards and whisper to my right ear.

"why do you ask?"

"my teacher says that someday we will go somewhere far from here..."

"and you think that someday, i will go somewhere far from you?"

I just nodded. Tinanggal ni mommy ang pagkakayakap ko at hinarap niya ako. Pinisil niya ang pisngi ko at nginitian niya ako.

"if ever i go to that far away place, just always remember that i'm always here by your side, watching you and..."

Tinanggal niya ang pagkakapisil sa pisngi ko at may parang kinuha siya sa leeg niya. Nilabas niya mula roon ang isang kakaibang kwintas at hinubad ito. She open my palm and she handed it to me.

"this amulet... If ever you felt sad, just think this is me..."

She kiss my forehead and hugs me again.

"...just ever i go somewhere far away this place"

I hug her back. It takes us minutes after she stand up and smiled at me.

"so, what my sweetie would like to eat for dessert?"

I smile wider and giggle before i answer her.

"chocolate muffin!"

She just chuckled at my answer then wipe her finger with some flour on my nose.
