A/N: I hate long drawn out Author's Notes but for this story I felt the need to prepare you. This story was originally written and published on another site. I wrote it with the intention of it being a fun, light read about one of those quirky conversations people in relationships tend to have with their partners. What resulted was 38 heated reviews in a matter of 4 hours accusing me of corrupting young women, supporting abusive relationships, and overall bad judgment in writing this short work of fiction. I was encouraged (in some cases in all CAPS) to pull the story. I did.
It has been collecting Word dust for the last 6 months.
However, whether I'm a glutton for punishment or a literary gangsta, I decided to dust it off and publish it here. The names, ages (characters are younger in this updated version), and backgrounds of the characters have been changed but everything else remains the same. Every run-off and fragment, all dialogue and characterizations are the simply cut and paste.
As stated, this is a work of fiction that is intended to be humorous and romantic and maybe even infuriating. It is definitely NOT my intention to be offensive. If you do manage to make it to the end without being completely repulsed and hopefully find some entertainment value in what you've read then let me know. This is a simple day in the life kind of story about adult people who are in love.
