Hello! My name is Emily. I live in Ohio, you probably don't know where the hell its located, but its kind of like Redditch I suppose. I mean all I've heard about the United Kingdom is that its muggy and wet. Oh! You're probably wondering why I'm writing to you! Well for my English class and your class, we have to do pen-pals as an all year assignment, and our teachers somehow know each other and they paired us together. Which is great I guess, gives me something else fun to do this year except soccer and drama club.
Enough about school because that's boring, I hope that we can become close friends this year! From your picture and list of interests I can see that we are kind of the same because I also sing. I bet you're amazing, I don't ever actually sing in front of people because crippling social anxiety, I honestly have nothing else to write about. Hope to see a letter soon!
