Anna was new in town, her and her mom as well as her little brother Jake were moving into a business district. Except the only business they would be doing is creating the house into a place where bats and spiders don't live. "Isn't this wounderful " her mom asked with a sense of pride. Anna looked around the house, peeling wallpaper, an exposed floor, dust, holes, cobwebs, dirt, just one big discussing dingie dirty mess. "Yeah it's sooo wounderful" Anna made sure to sound sarcastic. "What do you think Jake"? He babbled in response to his mother, with jake being only 6 months old it was about all he could do. "See your brother likes it, I'm sure after cleaning up you will like it much better, why don't you start setting up your room"? She sighed as she climbed the stairs, there was only one good thing about this new house. Even though it was a new town it was closer to the school, which meant no making new friends and no completely odd places. When Anna reached the room she looked around. So many boxes rested next to her bed and her desk. She decided to tackle the one of the boxes, to her surprise it was full of the photos she had hanging up everywhere at her old house. The bedroom walls were a dull, plain white, not really to her taste. She decided to fill the room with her photos later. After unpacking box after box her phone buzzed. She smiled at it, it was Zack her boyfriend. They have been together for one and a half years and they had a strong relationship. This year would be there junior year and year number two when the end of the year rolls around. The phone read can you come over, she smiled but she knew she was to busy to even bother. She texted back not today how's tomorrow? She started to unpack the next box when her phone buzzed again. She laughed at the text, aww fine, tomorrow it is. She set down her phone and walked over to her window and leaned over to open it. As she opened the window she glanced at the view of the forest and its pond, it was a great view from her room, the best in the house. She went to turn around and she felt this chill around her, odd it was ninety out how could she be cold? He mother called her downstairs and she ate lunch. "So how's unpacking going" her mom asked. "It's great I have three boxes left" she replied. "How's making this place less creepy" she asked keeping in her mind she would rather call it a nightmare. "Haha so funny but I'm almost done with the first floor I will start unpacking tomorrow, want to help"her mom replied. She didn't want to disappoint her mother but "I'm sorry mom Zack asked if I could hang out today so I told him tomorrow". "Oh okay you have fun, it is only summer for a little longer"her mom replied. There was the unpacking of almost all of the boxes later that day, only stopping for dinner, Anna was really tired. She walked up to her bathroom and brushed her teeth as she spit her toothpaste out she couldn't help but feel like someone was behind her and when she looked up in the mirror she thought she saw a boys reflection. She just shrugged it off and went to sleep. Everyone's asleep it's time for me to walk the halls of the place I used to call home...
