Welcome back, lovely followers, to Narnia. Here we'll rejoin the adventure with the returning Kings and Queens. We will meet new characters and those you may already know. Sit back and join myself, Alex, Edmund, and two new faces in Children of the Sun.

"Edmund."
I looked frantically around the woods I was standing in. It was familiar, very familiar.
But the voice. That was what made me frantic. I knew that voice. I hadn't heard in almost a year. That sweet, beautiful voice that sounded of sunshine and gold.
"Edmund."
I turned around and standing there was a young woman. Her hair was glowing gold in the sunlight. Her eyes were warm like molten gold. My best friend. My wife. My Alex.
I couldn't voice the ecstasy I felt with seeing her again. It hurt my heart to see her so close and yet so far.
"Edmund," she said in a delicate voice, "you left me behind and alone."
"I'm so sorry, Alex," I pleaded, "if I had known, I wouldn't have gone, I'm so sorry."
A frown appeared on her perfect face. "There is danger, King Edmund. Great danger."
"Where?" I asked as I knitted my brows.
Her expression grew dark and blank. "Something brews in the dark, a tyrant rises, endless killing. A new king must rise or Narnia will fall."
And with that, I awoke with a start. My dream already starting to slip away.

It had been 9 months since I had sent that dream to Edmund. It took a lot out of me. I was out for a couple weeks after that till I came to. I've been trying to find a way to send that message for hundreds of years.
You see, there's this barrier between what you would call reality and fairy tale. A wall between me and the love of my life, and it's taken me thirteen hundred years to get through it and send him a message.
I had come across an old book in the library at Cair Paravel the day the Kings and Queens went back home. Call it what you will, coincidence, blessing, whatever, but at the time it was just an interesting and fascinating find.
But the day I sent the warning was the day the winds changed.
The Telmarin prince's aunt announced that she was pregnant that day and we knew things would go horribly wrong if that child happened to be a boy. And I take personal offense to it if anything were to happen to Prince Caspian X. I watched over that child since his birth, he was a special child, meant to do extraordinary things. But no matter how much I watched over him and helped him to grow, his uncle was always there watching with dark, hungry eyes.
I always had to send my scouts out if ever I got a vision that would harm the prince. But now, since the announcement, the future has grown dark and full of blood. No one was allowed to leave the island unless it was absolutely necessary.
My sister and I had been trying to do some research to see if there was any way for the Kings and Queens to come back to Narnia. Because if there was ever a time that Narnia needed them, it would be now. Narnia was in grave danger.

Dedicated to Four_leaf_clover for the idea of Alexandra coming to Edmund in a dream.
I'm so sorry it's taken a long time for me to come out with the sequel to Daughters of the Sky and I'm sorry the beginning is so short. It'll get better as it goes along, I promise :)
Much Love,
