First day of school at Forks, and things are already looking horrible. The constant rain is killing me. I don't even have a car yet, so Charlie had to drop me off. Maybe I should run away now.
I run to the front and grab my schedule. "Have a good day, ... Isabella." The lady at the front says, squinting at my name at the top of the schedule. "Its..Bella." I say, and stalk off to my first period. "Um..Hi. You're.. Isabella Swan, right?" A voice says behind me. I turn and look. A lanky boy stands there, holding his schedule in front of him. I nod slightly, wishing these people could leave me alone. "But..Call me Bella." I tell him, wanting to dissolve into the floor. "Alright, Bella. We have the same classes." He says, smiling widely. I sigh. "Your name?" I say, trying to be friendly. "Oh. It's Mike." He responds, still staring at me.
We finally reach our class, and I breathe a sigh of relief. This guy is so fake. I sit down next to a girl with blonde hair and slight dimples. (A\N: Yet again, some of these characters do not exist or are different from the actual Twilight Saga.)
She smiles tentatively, as if she were shy. "Alright class, we have a new student today. Please stand, Isabella Swan." The teacher, Mr. String, or I think that's what his name is, says. I stand, blushing pink.
"Isabella, do you have any questions about the way the school works, or schedules..?" Mr. String asks me. I take in a deep breath. "Well, I like to be called by Bella, please." I say, sitting down quickly. He nods and small conversation breaks out around the classroom.
Most of my day continues like this, until lunch makes its way into the day. I quickly grab my lunch and turn around, looking at the table choices. Before I can get a good look, Mike and his table starts to scream and wave me over. I slowly walk towards their table and tentatively set my tray down. "Hi Bella!" Mike says ecstatically. I smile at him and look at everyone else at the table.
The girl in my first period was sitting there. "Hey." She greets me, not shy at all. "Hi." I say awkwardly, and for the second time today I want to disappear. She scoots over a seat so she is directly in front of me. "My name is Jessica. But Jess is fine." She says. I open my mouth to tell her my name, but she laughs. "I know your name already." She says, looking over and smiling at Mike.
Something catches my eye behind Jess. I try not to stare. Five beautiful people are sitting at a lunch table by the window. They just sit there, no lunches, and stare at each other. I can't tell why I don't find it odd. They look very..tired, it seemed. They were all very pale, but that just added on to their good looks.
"Jess, who are those people?" I ask her. She turns and looks at the beautiful people, and recognition flashes on her face. "They are the Cullens. You may want to stay away from them, but I don't know much about them. Just a before warning. Looks can be deceiving." She says, shooting another girl a look at the table.
My day continued on, and I didn't see the Cullens again. I wondered where they could go off to. They didn't seem to be very popular, despite their looks. Jess was right. Looks can be deceiving.

Above is my version of Jess. If you haters comment saying anything about 'that's not the real Jess', of course it's not the real Jess!
