Foxes in Crime

Days Just Go On

     The day's kept going by. They saw many moons and suns. They were all tired. All they had seen for days is green trees and brown bark. They were getting bored... Very bored.
     They were walking when Sofia's ears perked up. "What is it Sof?" Christina whispered.
     "I-I smell something.... New... And it doesn't smell very good." She whispered back.
     "Hey Abby, what's that smell?" Christina asked.
      Abby smelled the air, "oh no... This really isn't good at all." She said worried.
     "What is it?" Zoe asked with her face cringed.
     "A fire." Abby mumbled. Everyone started to panic. Abby looked at the sky, "guys, we're really close to the fire. It's not that far north. We should go."
They all ran south to get away, "wait, why don't I just fly us away? Let me fly you guys somewhere new and exciting. Somewhere we've never been."
     Everyone had to stop and think about the decision. They would cover more ground. But Zoe would get tired faster. "Wouldn't you get tired with all of us on your back?" Abby asked.
     "Oh no! I can just sharing you guys! And to make sure you don't fall out, I'll put a done or something over you guys." Zoe finished.
     Sofia, Christina, and Abby all stared at each other. "I guess it wouldn't hurt anyone." Christina suggested with a smirk.
     Zoe shrunk Abby, Sofia, and Christina and put them on her back and put a dome over them. "Here we go!" Zoe shouted.
     They were off. They flew a few feet under the clouds. They could see everything... Even the fire. They put the fire to the side and continued flying. Zoe was able to fly up to high moon. By the time it was high moon, she was overly tired. "I need a break... But I think we're in a new place... I traveled east this whole time." Zoe finished.
     Zoe grew everyone back to their normal size. They all stretched and looked around. Yes, they weren't in California anymore that was obvious. This place was more desert, a lot more dry and a bunch of lights. Abby pulled out her phone, "looks like we're in Las Vegas, Arizona." She told everyone.
