Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to be a cyborg? What they have to go through,do they have thoughts or feelings like humans? Well here's the answer and it all starts with Sai and her story.
I hear the sound of soft murmuring,my cameras won't turn on so i can't register whose voice it is,i feel a small hint of panic as i scan my database for anything scheduled,maybe getting my cameras fixed finally or remodeling some of my parts and maybe forgot i was still on. I hear fast paced footsteps approach me and then quickly come to a stop,"i-it's a robot,robots can't feel..dr.James please get to work now."
a familiar voice groaned,and before the voice stopped,it snapped when it called for another person,"y-yes..boss?"
a much softer voice asked from the darkness,"take her down.." the other answered after a short,odd,pause. I heard stuttering before i heard the hard trumping footsteps on a hard floor move to my left side before stopping,"w-what sir..? S-Shut her down?..W-What d-do you mean?" the softer voice asked,as if startled by something,or even fearful,
"i said..." the much stronger voice muttered after sighing,"SHUT IT DOWN!" it yelled angrily,and bitterly.
The sound of the footsteps,was much softer than before, moved to the back of me,"b-but dr.Hemings..she was d-dr.Williamson's scientific breakthrough s-she could make us rich..f-famous even." the voice begged in a quiet manor behind me,
after a few very long quiet moments one of the voices hummed softly and i could hear footsteps again,but not from behind me,and then another almost quiet sigh,"money is a mere object to me,and i have little to no interest in being famous,you understand that dr.James?"
i didn't hear anything until dr.James cleared his throat and nervously answered,"i-i understand s-sir.." i heard footsteps get closer to me,"good,now get to work and quit questioning your job..or do you want to end up like dr.Lillian?..hmm,dr.James?"
i heard a gulp and then the sounds of buttons being pressed,then i could see. Light quickly flashed before me and then dimmed slowly,
i seen in front of me a man in a suit,a fancy one at that,his light blond hair gelled back,he was tall and his deep green eyes stared up at me,his expression looked sour and firm and his skin looked pale under the fluorescent lights that shined in the room,a few wrinkles covered his face,giving him a slightly older look,"why is she powered up dr.James? I told you to turn her off,power her down!" the man barked.
I raised my arm,"dr.James is not your monkey,he is a doctor, he was hired to work and make things,not turn them off." i felt my stare turn cold and i felt bitterness make it's way through my voice and my actions,i felt as if something boiled inside of me,anger,i quickly grabbed him by his wrist and pulled him close,
he seemed shocked and surprised by my actions,the lens in my cameras narrowed as i glared at him,"dress up and play tea party all you want but i am not going to be shut off."i growled at him,my voice getting more firm and serious and less croaky,
i quickly held him by his wrist and pushed him hard on the floor,the floor opened under him and he fell,screaming his heart out as he did.
I looked by me to see a frightened dr.James,his gray eyes scanning me as he stood by me,almost as if not what to make of me,"w-well now that he's gone,let's head out." i looked at the ground to see my feet connected to the floor,as if they melted and molded to the floor over time,a few other people quickly ran into the room,they wore black outfits with a symbol of a gray bird holding a green gem,"we're getting you out of here." dr.James said as he stood in front of me,smiling.
Soon i shut down,not knowing what was going to become of me,how will i help them,and where i'll end up,only time will tell. I felt something strange poke me,as if jabbing me with something sharp,when i opened my lens i saw a little girl,she was strange since she was the first thing i saw,i was never good with little ones or even been near one before in my whole life,but this one gave a weird impression on me.
