Fantasy (The Fairy)

Tama, the fairy, had no wings. No wings at all. Not even the tiny little wings that a bee could carry on its back. Only a human like body, as tiny as a leaf. Tama grew up feeling hatred and envy towards the other tiny ones, with wings, beautiful butterfly-styled wings with enough energy to collect materials every day and communicate with the flying beautiful blue birds. Tama hated it. She only communicated with the ground animals and collected tiny artifacts left by careless humans. The ground animals were the worst. They always stared at Tama with confusion and once they did get to understand that Tama was alone, they fled into their other tiny homes. Tama, the fairy, had no wings.

Tama's home is small and unfinished. It's made out of a fragile hollowed out tree branch, which could break at any moment. She lost any energy she had. Tama never cleaned up after herself because no one visited her home, she didn't need to please anybody but herself. She didn't bother to change her dirty clothes. She didn't bother to feed herself because of how much trouble it was. She couldn't fly, she couldn't speak to others, she couldn't do anything. Tama, the fairy, had no wings.

Watching the other fairies flitter and flutter around every single flower. Some taking a nap on the petals. Others playing catch with a huge, brown acorn. Tiny children playing hide-and-seek. Wings emitting the glittery dust at times. Bathing in a clear, clean puddle. Socializing. Talking to animals and little bugs who don't know what they are. Every single flower in the valley of trees was occupied. The beautiful sight was corrupted by Tama's appearance. Tama, the fairy, had no wings.

Tama walked down the path and kept her head low.
"It's Tama."
"Shouldn't she be talking to the bugs...?"
"She is one, remember?"
"She doesn't have actual problems."
"True, she could actually walk around and collect other things instead of mope around at home all day."
Normal day.
