Chapter 3

We stood there, shocked, for a good few minutes before a snapping sound and bright flash brought me back to reality. Jungkook and I turned to our side.
Shit. Oh shit.

They were taking pictures of us.
The paparazzi. I could just see "Breaking News Jeon jungkook mystery girl?" If only they know the real story. I tried walking back and almost stumbled. I gained my balance and looked up realizing, the weather went back to being perfectly fine. I looked at jungkook before turning around and immediately running away.

"DALNIM!"

I ignored his call and ran to the front of the school with the paparazzi following me. I was covering my face as I ran, I couldn't really see, it was difficult.

   They aren't aloud to get inside the school so I yanked the school doors and went in, closing it and leaning against a wall for a break.
My heart was jumping out of my chest, I was out of breath. Wah, and I thought I was in shape.

  The bell rang announcing the end of break and I quickly ran to my lockers, grabbed my needed items and headed to my next class: Physics.

I took a seat in the middle of the classroom beside my friend, Soojung.

A boy walked into the room making the girls squeal. I rolled my eyes and banged my head on my desk.

Soojung laughed watching me, "You're embarrassing yourself infront of Jeon Jungkook." I stopped and looked at her, "Oh please. I couldn't care less."

"I agree. I mean kpop is cool and stuff but these girls need to treat him like a proper person. He probably feels so uncomfortable, poor boy."

I gave her an expression filled with disbelief, "Are you being serious? I knew I had one cool friend. You totally get me. They're making this too much of a big deal."

She widened her eyes agreeing, "Exactly!"

"Ugh, shut the fuck up. Honestly, you two don't understand anything."

Soojung and I looked at eachother weirdly before turning around to meet the owner of the foul voice. I looked at her and scoffed. She widened her eyes, "Yah, don't scoff at me!"

I laughed, "You're a bit too late."

She squinted her eyes at me, "Yah! Bi Dalnim, you've really been getting on my nerves. Watch yourself."

I shrugged and accidentally made eye contact with one person that I really wanted to avoid at all costs right now.

Of course it's Jeon Jungkook.

I noticed he wouldn't look away. I couldn't keep the stare-down going. I realized what was going on and quickly shook myself before turning around to face the lecture.

"Dalnim. Dalnim!"

I shook my head and stared blankly at Soojung, "Yea..?"

She raised an eyebrow, "Are you okay? Did something happen?"

I gulped and smiled, "Of course. Nothing wrong, nothing happened."

She eyed me curiously before mumbling an, "Okay."

I bid my farewell to Soojung and called over Hani. She had the same class in this period with me.

No one can know about this. Nobody's supposed to know. Rania knows about my extreme phobia only because of an incident that happened when I slept over at her house, but other than that, no one. And it needs to stay like that.

Who knows what the new boy is gonna Do. He's probably told everyone already, but he's been really quiet so far... Okay maybe he hasn't told anyone but who knows. This is his first day, when he comes tomorrow he's probably going to make so many guy friends and sooner or later he'll spill it to them.
But for now, I need to warn him. How tho? I don't want to go near him or talk to him again.

The rest of the day passed by long. Maybe because I didn't have Rania there to spend it with me. Speaking of Rania, all we did is give eachother quick glances through the out whole day. She was ignoring me, and I was ignoring her. I don't even get why she got so offended. See! Another problem because of Jungkook. I just lost my best friend for the period of time.

The bell rang loudly dismissing us all out of school.

"Dalnim!" I turned around to see Soojung running towards me.

She stopped infront of me and put her hands on her knees, taking deep breaths, "Are you..are you.. Free today?"

I laughed and patted her shoulder, "Do you want some water?"

"YES PLEASE!" She stood up with widened eyes.

I backed away jokingly, "Woah calm down its just water."

I grabbed a full untouched water bottle from my locker after we walked to our lockers, "Here."

"THANKS NIM."

"You owe me one." I watched her with my eyes widened as she chugged it down crazily.

She noticed my stare and sheepishly smiled, "Oh. We had gym last period and I wanted to reach you before you left the school."

I nodded my head still dazed from her wolf-like actions, "Ah, gotcha."

"So are you free today?"

I recalled her asking the same question earlier, "Oh. Yea I am, unless you want to pay. I only accept cash." I have her a smug look while rubbing my fingers together.

She sighed and face-palmed at my never-ending puns. "Anyways, Bomi and I were wondering if you wanted to come with us to the movies today."
She looked down and I noticed something.

I eyes her suspiciously, "Soojung.."

She looked up and gave me a toothy smile to help hide what she won't tell me, "Yea.?"

I slumped my shoulders and gave her the 'really?' look, "Rania's coming too isn't she."

She coughed and turned to her side, "Oh look at that Bomis calling us."

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever. I'll come but don't expect me to be nice."

She chuckled, "Don't worry I know you Nimie."

"Of course you Do. Who doesn't."

"You know what I'm not even gonna try to say anything."

I gave her a toothy grin, "Good."

"Ok then I'll pick you up at 6, good?"

I nodded, "Sounds great. Well see ya later sooji."

"Bye!" We waved at eachother.

I was walking with my head down, scrolling through Instagram when I bumped into someone.

"Oh sorr-" I grunted once I looked up.

It was Rania, arms linked with Jungkook. It was hard to not notice the girls whispering behind them, ready to strangle Rania.

Even though we got in a fight, Rania is still my bestfriend and I want her to be safe. I don't want her to risk anything being with... Ugh Jungkook.

I crossed my arms, "Watch where you're going. It's unsafe, something could happen."

Jungkook was looking right at me and I tried ignoring his state but it was literally burning through my skin.

Rania scoffed, "Since when did you tell people to keep themselves safe."

I narrowed my eyes at her. What's up with her? She's taking this too far. I didn't want things to be as bad as they are so I just shrugged, "I actually never did. I just reminded you of your idiotic actions."

Rania opened her mouth to say something but I quickly interrupted her having enough of this, "Oh sorry. I have to leave. Bye." I rushed passed them and accidentally made skin contact with Jungkook.

I stopped a few meters after walking behind them. Holy crap. What was that. My skin has goosebumps? I just slightly touched him and it was on accident but I still felt...never mind.

I shook my head sighing before heading home.
